One of my friends is dying from cancer :( . Almost every day she sends posts under "our last summer together" talking about her final days with her husband. Her husband has called me a few times as when she passes he will be moving back up to my area to stay with family. It's so sad but I feel I'm not very good at knowing what to do or how to respond. I send little notes and my prayers for them both but if anyone has any experience with people with months to live and how to be a good friend let me know. I'm not sure if I should be calling them every few days as she suffers so much daily. I feel like I'd want to hear from people even if just briefly. Just a month ago I went to a wake for a friend whose wife died of brain cancer weeks after being diagnosed and one of my close friend's friends just got married then diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. Sometimes it really makes you sad at how short life can be. I want to do better on responding to these things as they come up. Thanks for any ideas.
