Truth Machine made a tutorial, on a now defunct BSV streaming video platform called Streamanity, for taking an old phone and using Simply Cash wallet to create a cold storage device. I have at least one put away. And I took the same idea except a little more elaborate and took an old and I mean an old laptop as in it didn't even have internal speakers old, and completely airgap that and wiped it and then put Lennox onto a thumb drive to boot a separate OS with a cold storage on that. I managed to pull all of that off with a little bit of assistance from people way smarter than me, and that's stored away. So the idea that there are no options out there is more FUD. I'm all about the PiWallet & others working within the design of the original protocol, but make no mistake like you can't beat a classic.

See I am an exempli gratia, personifiedproof of work as to how even the intellectually disinclined may grasp real bitcoin quite readily. See, I am one step above Luddite and yet I still managed to create paper wallets and navigate intuitively what a brain wallet represents before I'd even heard of it how to verify rather than just trusting others on faith. And how to par what is real bitcoin versus all of the glossy sales pictures and fancy paint jobs put on the car body when I'm more interested in how the motor is functioning. I realize I'm mixing metaphors, but the song remains the same as to how if I can sort this stuff out in any sensible fashion, then literally anybody else can. So you all need to stop throwing the baby out with a bathwater because none of us is an extra special snowflake in terms of intellectuality and if anyone of us contrast a basic premises herein then that means everyone else's justice capable
It seems it might behoove several folks to read CSW's latest post about hypothesis, conjecture, and research to make sure that one is not falsely believing themselves to have invented a concept that may have already been discovered. This is happening in this bitcoin cycle, I'm seeing the recycling of FUD that has proven year after year to just be that just fuddy-duddy. If bitcoins need to be selling anything it is the overstocked inventory of wet blanket blankets stacked up from years of supposed supporters shitting all over the thing they claimed to support

You must be talking to the wrong crowd, because I don't ever get eye rolls when I point out that bitcoin is not cryptocurrency. The opposite in fact, people want that explained further. This notion in popular media that everyone's too dumb to grasp basic concepts is a sales pitch that people are too dumb to grasp that were being misled into thinking that we're not capable of understanding anything of complexity, and bitcoin is as simple as it gets and don't trust me, verify what I'm saying.
BSV finally has a hardware wallet. PiWallet is open-source, runs on a Raspberry Pi, and never touches the internet — no Wi-Fi, no Bluetooth, no Ethernet. Your phone builds the unsigned transaction, you ferry it over by QR code, and the Pi checks and signs it offline. First real cold storage option BSV's had in years.
