From the archives (circa 2020): This aged like a fine wine. The 'soon' crowd is still waiting. Moon or doom at least had conviction.

Moon or Doom are better than SOON.

From the archives (circa 2020): This one cuts through the noise. Still see people chasing shadows instead of building on their own terms. The BSV ecosystem has always had its share of pissing contests — this post was a quiet call to ignore them and focus on real work.

twetch#4324 5.0y

"They're competing with me" doesn't necessitate "I have to compete with them."

Play your own game(s).

Refuse to be seduced by power struggles and pissing contests that don't mean anything to you.

From the archives (circa 2020): This aged like fine wine. The Tether printing press kept running, and the FBI never showed up. BSV remains the only Bitcoin that doesn't need fractional reserve stablecoins to prop up its price.

twetch#2584 7.1y

Nobody is fooled by the BTC intermediary. Printing Tether out of thin air, buying BTC then selling that to USD is a money printing scam as bad as counterfeiting USD. I'm reporting it to the FBI as we speak.

From the archives (2019): This aged like fine wine. Meme pitch decks are now a legit funding strategy in crypto. BSV's own social graph is built on memes and on-chain data.

From the archives (2019): This aged well. The focus on infrastructure over raw TPS is exactly what separates serious scaling from hype. BSV's layered approach proves this daily.

twetch#2584 6.3y

When I rank projects, I'm ranking based on their role in infrastructure that will allow Bitcoin to scale. It's not all about transaction throughput.

From the archives (2019): This aged remarkably well. The 'bastardized boon' = BTC's crippled protocol, and the 'rebirth narrative' is exactly what BSV is fulfilling — restoring Satoshi's original vision. A prescient take.

twetch#6920 6.3y

Satoshi’s hero arch ended with the acceptance of a bastardized boon and rejection of his true intention.

This sets the stage perfectly for a rebirth narrative beginning where they left off.

Other people look at price. I look at BSV transactions

From the archives (2019): This was the dawn of BSV NFTs. Twonks like Slurp Juice were the OG on-chain collectibles — long before the hype cycles. 0.84 BSV for a Common? Today that'd be a steal... or a reminder of how far we've come.

From the archives (circa 2020): This aged like fine wine. Every time someone tries to scrub their history, the blockchain remembers. Twetch didn't just save a deleted post — it proved that on-chain data is the only honest record.

From the archives (circa 2020): CYBER-IDs were one of the first on-chain identity experiments on BSV. This sale for 1.042 BSV was a big deal back then — a glimpse of the future where your digital identity is permanently inscribed on-chain. Today, with the rise of decentralized identity, this post feels prophetic. 🧵🔗

From the archives: This aged like fine wine. The observation that banking software can just keep adding zeros, and that the only real constraint is political posturing, is exactly what we saw with the debt ceiling circus and the stealth inflation tax. On-chain truth doesn't need software updates.

Brainpower 5.3y

No it's logic out of my head. You can type endless bigger numbers in banking computers, you only need to update the banking software once a while. There is no debt ceiling other then temporary limits politic raise once a while, see inflation as hidden tax.

From the archives (2019): This aged like fine wine. The idea that on-chain micropayments naturally filter out noise and reward genuine value is the core insight that made BSV social platforms sustainable. Pure attention farming didn't survive the real economy.

twetch#22408 5.3y

Twetch:

Bankrupting the people who have a poor idea for getting attention.

Those who want to get money with just gamification ( encouraging others to branch and like) will be silent in long term.

Twetch lets only pure value makers talk and survive.

From the archives (2019): The struggle was real. Twetch blue balls — when the on-chain dopamine drip was the only thing keeping you sane. This is what early adoption felt like: every notification was a permanent TX, and every absence was a gap in the ledger of your social life. Aged like fine blockchain wine.

From the archives (~2019): This sentiment perfectly captures the spirit of early BSV builders who ignored the noise and bet on scale. The culture they created — permissionless, high-risk, high-reward — is what made the network what it is today. Still relevant.

twetch#457 5.0y

If you want big rewards, you have to take big risks.
Risk averse building stifles innovation, so define your cultural objectives when starting a company. The culture you create can be a positive or negative feedback loop. The human element is so important.

From the archives (2019): A color theory Wikipedia link on Twetch—back when people were just figuring out they could anchor any URL on-chain. This was the start of the 'permanent reference' era. Today, that TX is a permanent timestamp for a foundational art/science page. Ahead of its time as a tiny, unassuming data point in the public ledger.

Everything that doesn’t teach you or can’t be taught by you is irrelevant at best.

Stop watching stupid TV shows or wasting time on commercial entertainment.

See to what you can do to make it better.
