Quiero pensar que te levantaste un poco exaltado. Creo que eres uno de los duros aquí y no veo sentido a lo que dices.
No puedes comparar un like dentro de este esquema con un like inflado o trivial en otras plataformas. Cuando emites un "me gusta" pago, es porque consideras que la publicación o el usuario te está aportando un valor y decides retribuirlo con un importe. Lo mismo pasa con un "follow" pago. Se crea un sistema de microeconomia donde se intercambia un bien o un servicio por dinero.
No creo que sea avaricia, sencillamente no tuviste el dinero o no fue lo suficientemente impactante para recompensarlo o reservas ese importe para futuros pagos que si lo ameriten.
