Warriors of the Rainbow (1962): its vision this is what started rainbow

The book gathers prophecies from Native American, Javanese, Hindu, Buddhist and biblical sources and argues they share one pattern: a time of conquest and suffering, followed by an age when all peoples live as one family.

The rainbow is its symbol, with every race and colour united. In the world it foresees, war ends and religions stop competing. People share one language, the poor and old are cared for, and leaders are chosen for wisdom rather than loud boasting. Land, rivers and animals are restored.

It says this will come through a new world-uniting prophet whose message arrives "from the east." Humble "new teachers," the Warriors of the Rainbow, spread it by changing hearts through love, deeds and example, not force.

Why? The authors argue that all great prophets carried the same divine spirit, so divisions between faiths are man-made. Indigenous peoples, humbled by conquest and stripped of pride, are ready to lead this awakening and teach others how to love. And because the "trouble" half of the prophecies came true, they expect the "peace" half to follow.
