Very realistic take. Governments will never surrender control of their currency, which is why state-level adoption of non-fiat money is unlikely.
The real potential isn't necessarily replacing the Thai Baht or Peso, but replacing the expensive backend payment rails so value moves instantly without middlemen skimming percentages. Neobanks and crypto debit cards are great temporary bridges, but small vendors still suffer from card fees. Love the perspective!
