Ahh, @79b I misread your post - you were saying 100K TPS, which is very different than 100K transactions in a 17 hour period. Sorry about that! But the math still scales from what I'm running. Here's a chart that gets at it and incorporates the fact that it all depends on how big the transaction is. Mine carry just a 32-byte hash, ~530 bytes per tx including UTXO replenishment.
