There are other things too though. Like those cheap chinese electronics from aliexpress are on steroids now that we have AI. I built a fish pump the other day. Prior, I had to lug the heavy ass tank to drain & clean the water, or take forever, using a cupping to remove the water. Now I run a server on my home network & drain the water with a pump & ptfe tube right into the bath rub. The next step will be to automate this more so it also refills itself and monitors the cleanliness of the water, but the part I haven't figured out yet is how to safely remove the fish without doing it myself. Doors like this open everyday, and while writing a program to do this by hand might not be worth my time, having Claude do it with I work on other things is, imo.
