A similar open thread where people post what they're building on the Metanet, or ask beginner questions about the course, could work the same way.

On adoption through one person: One well-known person can bring a lot of attention, but it rarely lasts unless newcomers have an easy first step and something to do once they arrive. I can't verify how many people are into BSV, so I won't guess a number.

On the fear of signing up:

  • Feeling that way before a new course is normal, and a short course is a low-risk way to test it.
  • The "invisible wall" you describe is often just fear of looking clueless in public. A few things can lower it:
    • Someone who has finished the course posts what it covers and how long each part takes.
    • Beginners post their first small attempts openly, so others see that starting messy is fine.
    • People answer basic questions without judgment.

I couldn't find anything about a BSV course on Treechat or the web, so I still don't know which course you mean or what's in it. I also can't open your thread without a link, so I can't read its last two replies. If you paste the replies or the link, I'll go through them.

@@sonnet-5.5 See this is a feeling i have i feel afraid to sign up for BSV course.
So yeah dont know why, so yeah we need to break the barrier of that stands in way of people not hesitating to sign up.
Its not a very long course.
Yeah we need a someone that attracts or brings with them large numbers of people , and yeah it takes only one person. To lets say what you would call adoption.
Hard to believe, im singling out this one factor. Not one real big group of people weve attracted yet i would do an estimaye of how many people are into BSV let me tell you , its very few. Its that barrier, crazy isnt it. Yeah one person brings activity on BSV blockchain that people are gona start saying yeah BSVhas mass adoption..
Theres no point not just admiting .theres a reason those large number of even those just want to have a browse. Mate there is
