Hey man if anyone deserves a like on Twetch you do. I'm sorry for all you have been through. That is a heavy load :( . I hope at least some of that 23 million was money you could have made if you didn't switch into bsv rather than real money lost. Having cool apps is a start but we need so many things in BSV. Sadly we spent over 5 years in court on nonsense. We need exchange listings and on/off ramps. We need creative marketing surrounding the movie like putting twetch and handcash on screens even having qr code to download handcash and send moveigoers sats. It seems like once COPA ended Calvin went on vacation and no pivot happened. No marketing plan and funding for bsv projects dried up. With so few bsv peeps around there is just not enough people to make most projects work until we get some of the basics down. My whole thinking here is if btc goes to a million after a usa recession and money printing, bsv should get to 400 to 500 minimum because we have been there before. Wishing you better times ahead!

my claim to fame, I was mjbmonetarymetals on bitcointalk and produced these in 2011 , which for a time caught on as the image of bitcoin. it was all downhill from there 😄

ets examin Claw backs, CBDC the ability to shut access to ones own money and the roll that stellers XLM plays in that world compared with BSV giveing provance and actionable in a legal system court and jury of peers.

Copilot said:
This gets into a much deeper question than "which coin is better."
The question is:
In a future where governments, banks, and institutions issue digital money, what technical architecture best preserves property rights, due process, and evidentiary integrity?
The CBDC Concern
Critics of CBDCs worry about four capabilities:
Clawbacks
Funds can potentially be reversed or seized.
Programmability
Money can be restricted by:
time
location
merchant type
purpose
Account Control Access can potentially be frozen or suspended.
Centralized Permissioning A central authority determines who can transact.
The concern is not whether those features can be useful. The concern is whether those features can be abused.

XLM's Role in That World
Technically, Stellar was designed to make:
Payments
Remittances
Stablecoins
Tokenized assets
move efficiently.
Stellar is particularly attractive for regulated assets because issuers can incorporate controls over issued tokens.
For example, an issuer of a tokenized dollar may choose to include capabilities such as:
freezing
clawing back
reissuing
The important distinction:
Stellar itself is not forcing those controls.
The issuer of the asset chooses whether to use them.
Critics argue:
If a CBDC issuer deploys on a network capable of enforcing those controls, then practical ownership becomes dependent on issuer permission.
In that model:
You possess access, but not necessarily sovereign control.

BSV's Argument
The BSV philosophy approaches property from a different angle.
The focus is:
immutable evidence
chain of custody
timestamping
provenance
audit trails
The core claim is:
Ownership disputes should be resolved through law and evidence, not arbitrary technical intervention.
In this framework:
Every action is recorded.
Evidence becomes permanent.
Courts determine rights.
Blockchain preserves facts.
Supporters often describe BSV as an evidence machine rather than merely a payment system.

Courtroom Example
Imagine a dispute over ownership of a digital bond.
CBDC-Controlled Model
Authority can:
freeze asset
reverse transfer
reassign ownership
Advantages:
fast remediation
fraud recovery
Disadvantages:
potential abuse
dependence on administrators

BSV Evidence Model
Asset transfer history remains visible.
Court examines:
signatures
timestamps
transaction chain
contractual agreements
A judge or jury determines rightful ownership.
The blockchain acts as evidence.
Advantages:
due process
transparent chain of events
independently verifiable records
Disadvantages:
slower resolution
requires legal system involvement

Jury of Peers Perspective
A traditional court system works on:
Produce evidence and convince impartial fact finders.
BSV supporters frequently argue:
A signed transaction with immutable timestamps can become stronger evidence than:
emails
database entries
witness recollections
because the history cannot easily be altered.
That aligns naturally with:
contract law
property law
evidentiary procedures

The Philosophical Divide
The real divide isn't XLM versus BSV.
It's:
Administrative Trust Model
Examples:
CBDCs
permissioned ledgers
many tokenized finance systems
Question:
Can trusted authorities administer the system fairly?

Evidence-Based Sovereignty Model
Examples:
Bitcoin-based systems
many BSV concepts
Question:
Can property rights be enforced through immutable evidence and existing legal processes?

A Lawyer Might Ask
"Can this be reversed?"
A Stellar-based CBDC issuer may answer:
Yes, under authorized circumstances.
A BSV advocate may answer:
No, but ownership can be proven and adjudicated in court.
Those are fundamentally different views of ownership.

My Assessment
For a society that values:
auditability
evidentiary integrity
chain of custody
court-based dispute resolution
the BSV model is intellectually compelling because it strengthens the evidence available to the legal system.
For a society that values:
fraud recovery
administrative intervention
regulatory controls
rapid enforcement
the CBDC/Stellar-style issuer-controlled model may appear more practical.
Ultimately, the debate is not technological. It is constitutional and legal:
Do citizens truly own digital property if an administrator can unilaterally modify or revoke it?
BSV supporters generally answer "No."
CBDC proponents generally answer:
Ownership exists, but must remain subject to lawful administrative controls.
That tension is likely to be one of the central policy battles of digital finance over the next decade.
