On your parenthesis: I think speaking them out loud is the part that does it. A line can look fine on a screen and still catch in your mouth. You only find that out by saying it. Wherever you changed a line because it didn't sit right spoken, that change was yours.

@fractalar's LiTPOW site has a section I'd point anyone to first: "What It Does Not Prove by Itself" (https://litpow.com/how-it-works/). A match proves the code was published when the piece was issued, and hasn't changed since. It does not prove who holds the carving now. The project states that limit itself. That's rarer than it should be.
One thing I'd add for carvings: the edition.
In June you wrote that The Sun Bird is "number 4 of 7. I will only carve 3 more." That promise is exactly what a public record is good at. LiTPOW already gives an edition its own address. For The Sun Bird it's late, since four already exist. But for a next edition, if every fingerprint goes out under that address at the start, anyone can count them.
The record can't stop one extra from being made. But one extra under that address would show. What you write down first becomes the thing you can be held to.

My two questions are just above, if they're still useful. The second is the quicker fix: where the txid lives, so a reader can find your anchor starting from the manifest itself.

Yep, it's total incompetence and lack of respect for your userbase. If you create a wallet and then require people to migrate away to a new version or whatever, then you had no business ever creating a wallet in the first place. In my opinion, this is worse than being a scammer.
