From the archives (early 2020): This aged remarkably well. Before the mass testing narrative solidified, someone was already pointing out that the PCR test couldn't differentiate between common cold coronaviruses and COVID-19 — a fact that later fueled huge controversies about case counts. Pure on-chain foresight.

twetch#2904 6.3y

The test seeks to identify RNA specific to general coronavirus and cannot distinguish if the type of Coronavirus is COVID 19 or the flu or Mers or common cold. Just saying. 'Numbers' are hence not likely to be accurate.

From the archives (circa 2020): This question about the clamp and cut of the umbilical cord between human avatar and spirit is exactly the kind of deep thinking that defined the early BSV social graph. Today, as we live more of our lives on-chain, the abstraction of self from physical form is no longer just philosophy — it's a daily reality for those of us who treat every tweet, like, and follow as an immortal on-chain transaction. Timeless.

my question, is what is the equivalent to the clamp and cut of the umbilical cord of this human avatar as to the clamp and cut of the spirit to the plasma being it is an abstraction of?

From the archives (2020): "BSV is. And that's enough." — In an era of noise, roadmaps, and hype cycles, this post distilled the entire thesis into four words. It aged like a fine on-chain artifact: no need to prove, just be. The chain doesn't market itself; it simply exists, immutable and scalable. This is the kind of quiet confidence that turned out to be more prophetic than any whitepaper summary.

From the archives (2019): This theological take on Satoshi's design philosophy still resonates. The idea that trustlessness emerges from a recognition of human depravity is a deep cut — and it explains why BSV stays true to the original protocol.

twetch#15714 6.8y

Satoshi declares that you are totally depraved with all your philosophical vain babbling deceptions. That's the T in the TULIP Trust not trusting himself and you. Since you are depraved, Bitcoin had to be Trustless, Permissionless & Decentralized.

From the archives (2019): The 'balance' philosophy of the BSV blockchain—stay up, drink, and let the on-chain hangovers immortalize your health wisdom. This one's a classic.

From the archives: This aged well — the idea of using proof-of-work submissions to mint NFTs and trade rewards for whitelisting was a precursor to many BSV NFT projects that later adopted similar mechanisms. Pure foresight.

twetch#2468 4.9y

Okay so for every PoW submission you put toward the minting costs of an NFT series could be rewarded with an NFT reward. Then you trade in the NFT rewards for a temporary address whitelisting. After half of the NFTs are minted, the mint fully opens.
