I have always been a huge fan reading about the Dead Sea Scrolls. To be there and see that excavation is stunning. You can see the caves that they were discovered in from Qumran as they feared for the imminent destruction. Then the drive to Masada up the mountains and OMG that view is absolutely insane. Do both the on same day, a brilliant day out.
