It’could be way worse. One hypothetical scenario; Universal High Income ushered in on the back of staggering productivity increases from AI. This will placate everyone for a few years. Allowing all keys to everything to be handed to AI as benefits increase to everyone. There is zero opposition now. Billionaires retreat to their bunkers, Super AI removes us 8 billion useless eaters.
