One of my favorite memories from when I was 10 years old. During the cold war the Russians came over to play our hockey teams in the NHL and AHL leagues. Our New Haven Nighthawks beat them once 4 to 3 on a last minute goal by a guy who never scored before in front of a sold out crowd of over 8800 fans in New Haven CT. Just in the last hour our goalie found a post of mine and posted these pics!! Saving them here on the blockchain!!
