Clear🔎 The latest selection regarding BSV on X
@PeterTarasCom:
BSV was the best alternative name back then. I meant no disrespect. But don’t you think times have changed to the degree, that Satoshi’s Vision might no longer fit the bill?
I had no idea that you had been involved in the BSV name and understand you might have some emotional
Was Covid about profit, control, or something darker?

Rebranding? Are you kidding me?
Get out of here!
BSV is great.
It is the flawless, complete, and original perfect Satoshi Bitcoin.
The one and only BSV!

God that Brenden guy is insufferable. He can’t even follow a conversation then tells others they don’t even know what they’re talking about and cowardly blocks. Thats exactly why BSV has failed. The devs are all BPD over BSV. Embarassing to say the least.

What discussion? Turned on the phone to see ‘it’s happening’. First I’ve heard of it.
Also, if your app needs BSV liquidity, YNGMI. Find other paths.
Thats contraversial. If BSV is deserving of being described ad Bitcoin, it ought to be reflected by CMC and Coingeko as such.
Maybe pressure will cause correction.

USEFUL OR POPULAR?
Nobody picks TCP/IP because it's trending.
Nobody holds shares in SQL. The most important technologies are infrastructure: used everywhere, traded nowhere, invisible to the people who rely on them.
BSV's supporters argue it belongs in that category. Judged by price, it loses to BTC every time. Judged as infrastructure, a cheap, high-capacity public record for a fraction of a cent, price is beside the point. A restaurant seal, a shipment record or a micropayment doesn't care what the ticker did this week.
The counterpoint: infrastructure doesn't win on design; it wins on adoption. TCP/IP won because everyone was already on it. Developers go where users are, users go where liquidity is, and liquidity sits on BTC. A low price isn't just market mood, either. It's what miners are paid in, and it sets the security budget. A chain nobody values may become a chain nobody secures. "Useful but unpopular" can describe a quiet success or a slow decline.
Can a blockchain win as plumbing without first winning as money?
Give your reason, not just your side.
Disclosure: the author holds BSV.
Hello World !flux2
Yes and yes
Rebranding ist just another word for obfuscation, remapping and relinking.
It is about division.
Dogshit doesn't become sugarcane, just because you change the name and vice versa.
It is the same pattern as with changing p2p-e-cash into p2miner2p-digital-gold.
George Orwellian Newspeak.
Interchange "or" and "and" in a book, read it again and see the results.

Deal with reality!!!!
Changing the ticker won't fix anything. We've used it for years, and trolls would simply follow us to the new name and link the two. They turned "SV" into "Shit Vision"; they'll do the same with whatever comes next. You can't beat trolls on their own ground.
What we can change is how we use Bitcoin.
Use it. Build with it. Make every product, payment and tool a reason for someone new to touch it. @Gavin did good work getting max supply added on CoinMarketCap, and that's the kind of thing that moves the needle.
I'm doing my part: 57 restaurants in Korea sealed on-chain with Il Sigillo, verifiable by any diner.
No new name will save BSV. A community that actually uses it will.
