I think one of the most interesting uses of BSV for handmade art is proving authenticity… that this particular object really came from you.

Let's face it, a CNC machine could reproduce a handmade carving and pump out hundreds of copies. Counterfeiting physical items is cheap.

I ran into a similar problem last year, when I revived a baseball card game invented by my great-grandfather nearly 100 years ago. I redesigned the cards and updated the rules, but I didn’t want someone simply copying the finished product and selling counterfeits. The game is part of my family's legacy, so I was highly motivated to protect it.

My approach was to give each physical game a unique serial number, with a separate secret passphrase sealed inside. A cryptographic hash of that combination is published on BSV. When the first owner opens the package, they can enter both pieces of information and verify that their physical game is one of the authentic originals.

You could do something similar with a carving: a discreet serial/tag carved in the back of the artwork, paired with a private code on a certificate or sealed card.

That’s actually the idea behind a project I’d been developing called LiTPOW: using BSV to establish authenticity, scarcity and provenance for real-world creative work.

Let me know if this is something that interests you. I'd be willing to help at no cost. I'd love to help more artists and creators protect their physical work, while hopefully giving them a toehold in connecting to the future of commerce (which will be BSV!).

BTC 100 is still very new. Offline paper wallets have been around for years.
For long term storage, paper wallets are the best. Brain wallets are also cool. Also Bip 38 let's you password protect the private key.

I wouldn't recommend keeping all your stash in BRC 100 wallets yet. Put some in offline paper wallets
