My prediction:
By 2028, many companies will have an “AI employee layer” sitting between management and traditional software.
One agent handles sales.
Another handles customer support.
Another analyzes finances.
Another writes reports.
And specialized agents communicate with one another.
The big business question won't be:
“Do you use AI?”
It will become:
“How many digital workers does your company operate?”
The companies that figure out how to manage humans + AI agents could look very different from today's companies.
Prediction—not a certainty.
