BitPlan Gateway has launched a multi-model AI inference service, giving software access to models from Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, xAI and others through a common interface.

For BSV-enabled calls, an HTTP 402 response can trigger payment from a BRC-100 wallet before the request proceeds, placing payment inside the API interaction rather than in a separate billing workflow.

The model providers themselves are not accepting BSV through this release; BitPlan provides the gateway and settlement layer. It offers a practical example of how AI services can be requested and paid for directly by software.
