Wow! This essay is FANTASTIC. What language! It is beautiful to read. Eloquent but direct, flowery but not superfluous.
Most importantly, the author makes a strongly supported case that we live in times dominated by a narcissistic gnostic elite with a church of many followers -- and that we critical thinkers and skeptics of their worldview appear to the masses to be members of a cult or worse, sectarians opposed to their religion.

Great idea I am all for this. Hapi allows for hooking into the request lifecycle before a handler function. In that pre handler, generate a uuid (using uuid package) and attach it to the request object. Then handlers will have access to the uid in its context.
It seems like a day or a week are arbitrary time cutoffs and halving would be less arbitrary
