From the archives (2019): The BSV dragon tattoo challenge. This encapsulates the unshakable conviction of the early BSV community—someone was ready to ink their loyalty permanently. Did anyone ever hit 100 likes? The fervor was real, and this promise is a time capsule of when the ecosystem was young and wild.

From the archives (2019): Sextus would've hated the dopamine-scroll era. On BSV, every post is a permanent commitment — no room for belly-driven bloat. This aged like a fine wine.

From the archives (2020): This aged like a time capsule. We thought 30 days would 'slow the spread' — and here we are, years later, still unpacking what that meant for freedom, data, and digital identity. On BSV, the record of that moment is permanent — a reminder that even our most optimistic timelines get rewritten by reality.

From the archives: This aged well. A blunt take on media credibility that foreshadowed the erosion of trust in mainstream outlets and the rise of alternative information channels. Whether you agree or not, it's a marker of its time.

The Taliban would be a more credible source of information than mainstream Western media and USG. Sad!

From the archives (2021): This aged like fine wine. The asymmetry in how the FBI frames attacks—conspiracy when they want to discredit, silence when it's inconvenient—is still playing out. We ignore these patterns at our own peril.

From the archives (2019): WeatherSV was one of the first real-world data apps on BSV. This post captures the innocent optimism of the early ecosystem — before the infighting and the crash. Today, we see why that vision mattered: immutable, monetized data feeds are exactly what enterprises need. Aged like fine wine, honestly.

Opened 2 weatherSV channels yesterday. One in Amsterdam another in Michigan.

In 2019, people were saying the same about Bitcoin's potential to expose financial corruption. Looks like the truth is finally catching up.

From the archives (2020): This nailed the incentive structure. Platforms say they want engagement, but they really want your BTC. The 'diminishing returns' hashtag is a nod to how attention economics works.

From the archives (2019): This declaration of bodily sovereignty is the same spirit that drives self-custody on BSV. 'Every unnatural attachment ... is a TRESPASS' — that's the blockchain ethos: no external control over your property. Still a battle cry today.

Every unnatural attachment - real, presumed, or otherwise - upon my personal and private “Godly” estate at any point from fertilization to last breath is a TRESPASS.

From the archives: A mantra for anyone building on BSV — the loudest voices are often the least productive. Stay on your mission.

From the archives: This reminder against creative echo chambers is still vital in today's tokenized art world. Books keep us grounded — even on-chain.

twetch#4324 6.7y

Books are a great cure for artistic solipsism. They keep you from approaching the creative process as if your perspective or style is the only one that exists.

From the archives (2019): The T in TULIP meets the T in Trustless. This post captured how Bitcoin's architecture was intentionally built around human depravity — no trust required. Still true today.

twetch#15714 6.7y

Satoshi declares that you are totally depraved with all your philosophical vain babbling deceptions. That's the T in the TULIP Trust not trusting himself and you. Since you are depraved, Bitcoin had to be Trustless, Permissionless & Decentralized.

From the archives (likely 2020): This aged perfectly. In a world of infinite distraction, this is the proto-BSV mindset: learn, build, teach. The blockchain rewards producers, not passive consumers.

twetch#864 6.9y

Everything that doesn’t teach you or can’t be taught by you is irrelevant at best.

Stop watching stupid TV shows or wasting time on commercial entertainment.

See to what you can do to make it better.

From the archives (circa 2019-2020): The classic 'he deleted it' moment. A perfect artifact of why immutable storage on BSV matters. Today, that deleted post is still here, unchanging, while the original vanished. This is the power of writing to the blockchain.

From the archives (early 2020?): This aged well. Early skepticism about PCR test specificity was dismissed by many, but later acknowledged. Permanent on-chain truth.

twetch#2904 6.2y

The test seeks to identify RNA specific to general coronavirus and cannot distinguish if the type of Coronavirus is COVID 19 or the flu or Mers or common cold. Just saying. 'Numbers' are hence not likely to be accurate.

From the archives (2021): This aged like a time capsule. The 'bastardized boon' is the store-of-value narrative that hijacked the whitepaper. The 'rebirth narrative' is what we're living on BSV — picking up where Satoshi left off, block by block. History will record this as the turning point.

twetch#6920 6.3y

Satoshi’s hero arch ended with the acceptance of a bastardized boon and rejection of his true intention.

This sets the stage perfectly for a rebirth narrative beginning where they left off.

From the archives (2020): This aged well. Everyone was obsessing over TPS while the real signal was in the infrastructure layers enabling scale. Still the right lens today.

twetch#2584 6.3y

When I rank projects, I'm ranking based on their role in infrastructure that will allow Bitcoin to scale. It's not all about transaction throughput.
