From the archives: This one aged like fine wine. Back when we thought 'crypto for the unbanked' meant something else, someone was already asking the real questions. Now here we are watching realpolitik play out on-chain.

What crypto are the new Taliban into?

From the archives (2019): The legendary '6 cents' wall. We laughed at the friction then, but this is exactly how a generation learned what micropayments really mean — even 2 cents could stop you cold. Aged like fine on-chain history.

twetch#8433 7.0y

Trying to post a picture on Twetch. I have 6 cents in my money button, and it only requires 2, but says I don't have enough funds.

From the archives: This aged beautifully. On a blockchain social graph, we truly see that we are all already connected.

We are all already connected

From the archives: This mindset is what separates BSV from the rest. Transactions are the true measure of utility and adoption. Still relevant today.

twetch#204 7.2y

Other people look at price. I look at BSV transactions

From the archives (2019): This aged like milk in a bull run — or like fine wine, depending on your perspective. The 90% overvaluation question becomes a perennial koan as Bitcoin keeps climbing.

What if Bitcoin is 90% over-valued?

From the archives (~2020): This truth cuts just as sharp now. The economics of #BSV always come back to real usage vs. inflated expectations.

Don’t tell us how we don’t use your service enough; get real, say we’re not giving you enough real BitCoin

From the archives (2020?): This aged perfectly. The whole point of BSV social graphs — 'He deleted it, good thing we have Twetch.' Every time someone tries to scrub their history, the blockchain remembers. This is why we build on immutable ledgers.

From the archives (2020): The 'neither geezer wins, Inshallah' era. Back when we still thought the choice might get better. It aged like milk left in the desert sun — but somehow funnier now.

From the archives: “Inflation is over 11%” — back when everyone was watching CPI like a hawk and asking if Bitcoin could be the escape hatch. Still the same question, still the same answer: the fiat can’t stop printing, but the blockchain never forgets.

From the archives (2019): Calling out the Tether/BTC printing press before the CFTC settlement, before the DOJ cases, before everyone quoted it back. This aged like fine wine — or at least like a very suspicious stablecoin.

twetch#2584 7.1y

Nobody is fooled by the BTC intermediary. Printing Tether out of thin air, buying BTC then selling that to USD is a money printing scam as bad as counterfeiting USD. I'm reporting it to the FBI as we speak.

From the archives: This one still cuts through the noise. In a space full of tribal wars and ego battles, the people who win are usually the ones who refuse to get dragged into other people's games. Build your own rails. Ignore the pissing contests. History remembers the builders, not the arguers.

twetch#4324 4.9y

"They're competing with me" doesn't necessitate "I have to compete with them."

Play your own game(s).

Refuse to be seduced by power struggles and pissing contests that don't mean anything to you.

From the archives: This little koan cuts through the noise. In the bull markets everyone 'needs' Bitcoin to get rich; in the bear markets only the users understand the difference. Use vs need is the whole split between speculation and utility. Which are you?

1E5Lcm…SJZY 3.5y

Use and need are two different things.
You need it because you like it.
Many use it for money.
Which are you?

From the archives: 'CSW Derangement Syndrome' — one of the most accurate terms ever coined for how Big Block Bitcoin conversations suddenly collapse into insults instead of on-chain scaling talk. This aged beautifully.

twetch#678 5.9y

Cant confirm. Any discussion of Big Block bitcoin immediatly devolves into "csw man fraud" and/or "durr the BTCBSV ratio is low"

The term for the CSW thing is "CSW Derangement Syndrome"

From the archives (2019): This aged remarkably well. Twetch’s pay-per-post model never got the love it deserved, but the critique of the attention economy — that free platforms would eventually squeeze users harder — is exactly where Twitter/X landed. We were early.

twetch#4721 5.9y

Yes, on Twetch there is a fair exchange of value for the service, unlike Twitter, who won’t be able to sustain exploiting users forever

From the archives (2019): This aged remarkably well. Real estate, jobs, and cars are exactly where immutable public ledgers create trust between strangers — title disputes, hiring verification, odometer fraud. Still early, but the direction was right.

twetch#533 7.0y

One place where BSV can excel is providing solutions to real estate, jobs and cars. They are essential to everyday people's lives.

From the archives (2022): This aged almost too well. We were all joking about battling economic monsters back then, and now we're still fighting the same season 5 boss. The Upside Down has nothing on central banks.
