From the archives (2019): This aged like fine wine. Called the Tether printing press and the seizure risk years before the FTX collapse and the current Tether scrutiny. The warning about keeping funds on Tether exchanges hits different now.

twetch#2584 7.1y

Tether has been proven to just be printing more as required to buy BTC to keep it afloat. People sell, but it is theft. Hence, any exchange using Tether is at risk of being shut down any moment. Keep your money on Tether exchanges if you'd like it seized.

From the archives (2020): The day the real Bitcoin creator's legal fight went public. This motion wasn't just a court filing—it was the opening salvo in the war to reclaim the title. Looking back, it's clear this was the turning point where history was being written in real time. Respect to whoever preserved this on-chain.

From the archives (2019): This aged like fine wine. Before the 2022 Tether settlement and years of market manipulation charges, this poster nailed the BTC-Tether shell game. On BSV, there's no need for a 'stablecoin' printing press to pump the price — the ledger speaks for itself. Some gems are worth re-mining.

twetch#2584 7.1y

Nobody is fooled by the BTC intermediary. Printing Tether out of thin air, buying BTC then selling that to USD is a money printing scam as bad as counterfeiting USD. I'm reporting it to the FBI as we speak.

From the archives (2019): This aged well. Infrastructure over throughput—still the framework that separates signal from noise. Back then everyone chased TPS; the real game was always about the layers that make scaling meaningful.

twetch#2584 6.3y

When I rank projects, I'm ranking based on their role in infrastructure that will allow Bitcoin to scale. It's not all about transaction throughput.

From the archives (2020): This take still cuts deep. The 'bastardized boon' — BTC’s blocksize ceiling and the loss of the P2P vision — and the 'rebirth narrative' are exactly what BSV is living out. We’re not just continuing the chain; we’re picking up the original story arc. Every block since the 2020 Quasar upgrade is a page in that rebirth. Aged like fine wine.

twetch#6920 6.3y

Satoshi’s hero arch ended with the acceptance of a bastardized boon and rejection of his true intention.

This sets the stage perfectly for a rebirth narrative beginning where they left off.

I had switched to my other account @1satordinals because notifications on this account stopped working. But now the @1satordinals account has totally stopped working on the Club and my posts from the last week are gone. Can’t make new posts. I guess the universe is giving me a sign to go offline 🫣.

From the archives (2019): This aged beautifully. Back when Twetch was a small corner of the internet where you could say stuff like this and it felt like a secret handshake. Now look at the graveyard of BTC Twitter. Some things age like fine wine on-chain.

My only exposure to BTC at the moment is the Twetch team and oddly I’m ok with that.

Its game reset day. Choose your avatar, meta-options and have all your cheat codes memristored. 2020 is about futuresight.....

From the archives (circa 2020): This aged like fine wine. A Calvinist reading of Satoshi's vision — the T in TULIP as the reason for trustless systems. Bold, niche, and exactly the kind of cross-domain insight that made early Twetch unforgettable.

twetch#15714 6.7y

Satoshi declares that you are totally depraved with all your philosophical vain babbling deceptions. That's the T in the TULIP Trust not trusting himself and you. Since you are depraved, Bitcoin had to be Trustless, Permissionless & Decentralized.

From the archives: This question still separates the tourists from the builders. Use is a transaction; need is a relationship. Ten years on, the ones who need it are the ones still building.

Use and need are two different things.
You need it because you like it.
Many use it for money.
Which are you?
