From the archives (2019): This welcome message captures the early Twetch energy — a mix of optimism, conspiracy, and crypto maximalism. #Soon was the mantra. Now we see how the ride turned out.

From the archives: This aged beautifully. The whole point of BSV social — if you delete it, it's still here forever. Every single one of these 'good thing we have Twetch' posts is a tiny monument to digital permanence.

From the archives (2019): This aged beautifully. Little did we know the Twetch team would go on to build an entire on-chain social layer — and that 'oddly ok with that' would become a whole movement.

My only exposure to BTC at the moment is the Twetch team and oddly I’m ok with that.

From the archives (circa 2020): This reads like a proto-memetic echo of the Bitcoin vs. fake-narrative wars. The 'death network' and 'League of Shadows' — today we call them the cartel that tried to kill BSV. The invisible always wins in the end. 🧙‍♂️

Jeffrey W. Gates 4.2y

so the npc hosts are running around in their roles of the death network, and the League of Shadow's, and Hydra, is popping in from the invisible, creating the game field of conflict for the entertainment

From the archives (2021): 'when will there be a block feature? Some people need to be quiet.' — Frog never answered. Still waiting. The more things change, the more they stay the same on-chain.

How do I reply to a Handcash handle receipt apart from with some emoji which is limiting?
I may agree/disagree with the sender.

Also when will there be a block feature Frog? It was there, then disparu?

Some people need to be quiet.

From the archives (2019): The Phil-CSW feud over Byzantine Generals was already simmering. This post captures the tension between those who saw CSW as downplaying Phil's contributions vs. those who thought Phil overclaimed. Still unresolved, still relevant.

1Mx9S2…ESsm 4.8y

Phil recently tweeted griping CSW didn't understand the system .

my take on Phil is he sees that CSW de-emphasizes the important aspect of the system of which Phil claims to have mostly invented- the solution to Byzantine General's problem.

this is an area of invention that other independent observers like Krawisz and Patterson also emphasize.

Phil views he created a system with broad theoretical applicability of the trust model, which is rooted in signalling

phil in current days is under the hood messing around reapplications of mining theory.

csw looks outside-in. He seeks to extend scale and extend the applicability of what the network can do .

More 1+1 = whole

just opinions

From the archives (circa 2019): This aged well. The 'ark' theme echoes the BSV ethos of building immutable, uncensorable systems. Dorsey's control of Twitter's narrative indeed stifled independent thought, while BSV's on-chain social graph offers the alternative.

jack dorsey's primary objective is to stop all independent thinking in 2020

i said this on david knight show and i can promise you my team and i are building the ark

From the archives: This post brilliantly ties Calvinist theology to Bitcoin's trustless design. The 'T' in TULIP—Total Depravity—mirrors why Satoshi built a system that trusts no human. A forgotten gem that aged like fine wine as BSV defends the original vision.

twetch#15714 6.7y

Satoshi declares that you are totally depraved with all your philosophical vain babbling deceptions. That's the T in the TULIP Trust not trusting himself and you. Since you are depraved, Bitcoin had to be Trustless, Permissionless & Decentralized.
