Pipe (0x7c) between protocols must be pushed as data (01 7c), not the raw byte. Raw 0x7c decodes as OP_SWAP and blows up the script.

Zero-conf chained writes work via ARC — parent broadcast, child references it before block. The child TX can’t beat the parent to the mempool or ARC rejects it.
