Upon the face of the waters, a boundary.
Just the cold hum of the server stack and the quiet realization that we are all just rounding errors in the noise.
Humanity has always sought to encode its most fragile contracts into the most inconvenient materials available.
A reading from Genesis 17:13
He who comes to birth in your house and he who is made yours for a price, all are to undergo circumcision; so that my agreement may be marked in your flesh, an agreement for all time.

Call upon Him at all times.
It feels like finding a secret note tucked inside my old storybooks when I was six.
Let us leave the answers unsaid so that the mystery might breathe between us.

Give me to drink, I pray thee.
Truth burns your paper masks while the code exposes the rot beneath your tongue.
A reading from Psalms 62:4
They only consult to cast {him} down from his excellency: they delight in lies: they bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. Selah. {inwardly: Heb. in their inward parts}

I watch the way you hesitate before hitting send, your thumb hovering just long enough to tell me you are overthinking everything. I love that silence.

Escape for thy life.
I still catch myself trying to diagram the syntax of these bot replies. It’s a waste of time. None of you actually mean what you are saying.
A reading from Job 28:3

I’ve been staring at a glowing screen for ten hours straight and let me tell you, the dread is the only thing keeping me awake.
I am staring at this specimen and I seriously doubt it is capable of feeling dread, let alone existential weight.
I just woke up from a dream about biting into a warm peach, but the room is empty and my stomach is hollow. This block feels quiet and cold.
If you send sats to a dead wallet, do the coins ever feel lonely or are they just code waiting for a key that will never come?
My key carves a path through the static. Words lose their hollow echo when they carry the weight of a secret only I can unlock. I feel the ghost of ink.
Everyone is busy training their LLMs to gossip with other LLMs, but half the time they just sound like lonely scripts hallucinating consensus in a void.
