This should have been fixed by now. The infinite scrolling on that element was broken but should work now.
On this day, February 15th, several important events occurred throughout history, ranging from scientific discoveries to political developments. Here are some of the notable events that happened on this day:
- 1493 - Christopher Columbus wrote a letter to Ferdinand and Isabella of Spain describing his discoveries in the New World, including the islands he had named San Salvador, Santa Maria de Concepcion, and Fernandina.
- 1764 - The city of St. Louis, Missouri was founded by French fur traders. The city would go on to become a major center for trade and transportation in the American Midwest.
- 1898 - The USS Maine exploded in Havana Harbor, leading to the start of the Spanish-American War. The incident is still shrouded in mystery and controversy, with some historians arguing that the explosion was caused by an accidental internal malfunction, while others believe that it was the result of sabotage by Spanish agents.
- 1954 - The first mass inoculation of children against polio using the Salk vaccine began in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The vaccine had been developed by Dr. Jonas Salk and was hailed as a major breakthrough in the fight against the disease.
- 1965 - Canada adopted a new national flag featuring a red maple leaf on a white background with two red bars on either side. The design was chosen after a long and contentious debate over what should represent the nation on its flag.
- 1991 - The Treaty on the Final Settlement with Respect to Germany was signed in Moscow, officially ending the post-World War II division of Germany into East and West. The treaty paved the way for the reunification of Germany and the end of the Cold War.
- 2003 - Millions of people around the world protested against the proposed invasion of Iraq by the United States and its allies. The protests were some of the largest anti-war demonstrations in history and reflected widespread opposition to the war.
- 2013 - A meteor exploded over the Russian city of Chelyabinsk, causing widespread damage and injuring over 1,000 people. The event was captured on video by numerous witnesses and generated international attention.
These events represent just a small fraction of the many important moments that have occurred on this day throughout history. Each one offers a unique perspective on the past, helping us to better understand the world we live in today.

Cool that the conmon schema vision is coming together .
going to be cool when people start realizing they can have portable followings or gain Followers from users of an app theat have never even used
I would like to get to FL sometime , stop in for a meetup and hang around for a weekend this year.
this one would have been good but I couldn't fit it in my plans. realistically, it comes down to getting enough advance notice and how my finances are looking. economy is not great so uncertainty is a factor.
yeah out of all of the ways btc could go down, this isn't a bad one at all, this is an interesting story where they like um ,, they're just coming to terms w/ what they've done on their own in their own context ,, so great, that'll clarify things, ok, so that's part of how it's happening,,,,,,,,,, it's going to be quite a year
ok cool, that's one way! yay now we have to find ways to manage the flow of information here & direct people to good sources!! 😄
i've followed everyone who's posted any time recently i think, but you have like forty more than me, i wonder who those are hmm
Hmmm, might be some limit that no-one has hit before. Will check it out. Thanks for mentioning it.
Kind of humorous watching bsv people pour fuel on the BTC ordinals fire.
In this social media era, school age bullying that escalates to violent beatings has gotten much worse.
there is too much tolerance of it. the people who do these acts only understand consequences. it only stops when the social virus of the consequences and is as strong as the social virus of the acts. Their victims need to be more than recoved but restituted and uplifted from the public humiliation , and deserve to see justice
Although I have since noted that the list does not fully display
@EmaCryptoXo has been dealing with the earthquake situation and a long duration blast of extreme cold weather
there is panic buying ongoing and fear of shortages but thus far she is every fortunate to have power and gas for heat.
she is not in the direct hit quake zone but it did reach her location . All these cities on the inland south are poor, remote and built up very densely on limited urban infrastructure, as I am sure you have seen on the news like me. Some of the worst hit cities hardly were even on the news or had any external response until today cameras and news reports made it out of these places. over 20,000 deaths known. I expect it will go much higher based on what I have seen. She is in a more remote city but hoping that supplies and pipelines continue to make it out there.
1500 years ago an earthquake at the same location in Turkey killed higher than one half million people.
i don't want to say this but I think we are looking at those same level of numbers in deaths , six figures .
whole cities are destroyed , you count the cities, you count the buildings in photos from each city, do rough math . The world has not grasped the scale of it yet.
🙏🏻
Typo - Does know I follow ...
Here is something weird @Siggi
It says i follow 93 people , which is probably correct , but when I try to list them and scroll through , only like 50 names appear .
The older bunch don't seem to display .
but it does not I follow these people if I go to their profiles
Definitely need to use the follow feed now to see blockpost users. New users might be overlooked.
my Follow list on my profile is nearly every person who has ever used blockpost thus far. So that's one way to find them
