Been awhile. I think I signed into Blockpost with MB a LONG time ago. Maybe a year???

I was not aware that it was still being worked on and it looks and feels amazing.

this repeats a bunch of bullshit from the twelve steps cult

there's no reason someone needs to "hit rock bottom" before reducing their substance abuse or otherwise changing their habits,, what you DO need to "hit rock bottom" before doing is JOINING A FUCKING CULT & that's what that's actually about, much of the stuff in the twelve steps groups if you think about it has nothing to do w/ medicine or addition & everything to do w/ getting & keeping members b/c it's a fucking cult

The first two are asset-oriented but for two opposing personalities, the second is network-oriented, the last is utility-oriented

Interesting to watch bsv community fragment along personality types as there is not yet a lot of utility to gravitate around.

there are 4 camps

relayx caters to the adrenaline seeking higher risk taking flippers and creative adventures

twetch caters to the hodler personalities who want group identity and get validation out of pumping their own nfts among each other

The microtransaction camp is looking for interactivity, social engagement and value authenticity.

And there is a staid build camp of people generally older and lean toward established business. These people are online the least, except for the boosters among them

beyond the 4 camps, there are some floating lone wolves like me around, the boost pow big idea guys , and some embittered defectors out there

we've been INTENTIONALLY KEEPING THE DATA BAD online, ever since we rejected the original idea of web 3

if you just put up good data & metadata then you can use WAY simpler algorithms to draw conclusions out of the data

so in a way the remarkable thing isn't that we finally have some AI that can draw some basic conclusions about stuff, the amazing thing is that we HELD OUT ON THAT SO LONG, all the way until they could figure it out by studying the pile of shitty data we've been insisting on

i just watched https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-NHE72AgPGc Sophie from Mars, "Ye West & The Fascists Who Love Him", awesome as always, lots of interesting thoughts about how current media structures function
