"ignore all rumors of cancellation" is an old Rainbow Gathering saying, but i've been saying it sometimes about BSV too, same phenomenon, they're like "uh actually it's cancelled, there's no Gathering/Bitcoin any more, don't try to find it, gone" but you should just ask around where it's at

yay we can do it bSocial is real! should we call it that?? do people not need to know what the implementation is?? they're calling it "blockpost" mostly or "bitchat" by which they mean the bitchat nitro front end,,,, well i guess people will just be confused for a while, that's what happens w/ new things 😃

bitchat/bSocial will continue to be a graveyard, but it'll be a graveyard of interfaces, while the underlying protocol persists for a while,,,, probably not more than a few years? memo was also an open protocol just a VERY simple one that was designed to fit into the miniscule txs of the day by only having like a few bytes of prefix was the whole protocol,,,,,,,,, just a sucky protocol by today's standards & if what's-his-face wants to start memo back up he really ought to just send & ingest bSocial b/c we've moved on,,,,,, but same thing w/ bSocial, it's going to seem old fashioned how it's in op_returns & it's just chaos,,,, metanet will be much more organized & productive really, that's my intuition is we'll switch to that
Old sectarian view, no matter which sect comes from. World's factions are full of these kind of nonsense because each factions has its own way to manipulate the minds of their stock. Every place has stocks and shepherds, only dresses changes, but they are all at the paycheck of the same f circus!
If we had been educated to life with truth and conscience and then left free to decide for our best and the collective, I'm sure we wouldn't need to talk about all this bs again that have the sole scope to put tags on people to make other people (the most idiots among all) to target those, so to keep the whole stock busy fighting... while they prepare the barbecue and the dressings...
