I guess relayx is launching yet another bsv social network. on-chain or not? Don't know. Modest launch tokens were sold

I saw some discuss that I guess twetch is perhaps not committed to bsv long term. I didn't really understand

twetch/RC did a sale of cyberid. I guess bsvers threw 800 bsv at the project

i hope they like them but there is opportunity cost. I don't understand why these guys don't realize what amazing things could otherwise be built for 800 bsv

When people start a venture, They commit to a whole number of decisions against a wide range of alternate possibilities, whether they realize it or not.

then if they go get funding and spend it , they further commit. those commitments could be concrete to build up or could be like mud that stalls lateral movement.

this is an advantage of observing and learning while remaining uncommitted . there are two sides to it.

Those block dojo people appear to be helping the startup people a lot, but they are also taking people and kicking them into the pool quite quickly.

Given the actual level of learning required in this space , that could be a dicey path.

actually my thought process is in order to out-compete larger teams of 5 or 10 or 20 , it's necessary to make strategic decisions that create advantages. This is why I try to learn widely

would be cool to anticipate what it's drawbacks and shortcomings. I am not so interested to deep dive on this right now.

Data representation, syntaxes , notations , expressions, and conversion is something i would gleefully dive into 25 years ago but now at my age my eyes just want to glaze over it all 😄

Json data representation is great and widely compatible. However with bsv ipv6 and IoT on the horizon and better flexibilty to deal with mix of binary addresses and text based information , CBOR looks interesting. It effectively preserves Json as a subset of it . CBOR definition for interchange also further defines CDDL for processing of it.

Maybe an on-chain versioned Link Tree app would be a good back door as an openSocial migrator app , because it can follow the links then use that to cross reference among users, then Prompt to push matches

i don't known when we will see the platform view though. It seems it might not be worth just waiting for that

sometimes I see value in defining an openGame layer where basic game aspects follow some schema and hung off a player pseudo id , like here.
