welcome! it's just a humble little social media site, pretty standard features,, but it's an open protocol so it's the future
they work more like hashtags than channels, really
you can just tag a post as being in w/e chat you want
& then it's up to clients to display that, mostly what they do is sort it into chats,,, i'd also like an interface that puts everything in one stream w/ what chat it's in as a ui element

yeh they're just like "$1 is a lot for a fee,,, unless the cost of the thing is $1000 then it's only 0.1%! so let's make everything $1000!! wow that means i'm rich b/c everything i have is worth $1000!!!" like they're not looking around for a more functional chain unless we can also make it so our chain is full of marks who will pretend w/ them about the value of their assets,, so w/e
Yes even when I am researching non-bsv stuff, I generally steer clear of ETH. I just can't relate to their mindset .
Use is a bottleneck, so they work-around usage.
cost is a problem so they do everything as being premium and pricy
so weird to read things from other chains & there's a bunch of transactions & they're like,, casting blame?? like "they should have had better control over who was going to mint" "who's responsible for how much this cost people in gas fees" wtf
over here if you make 100000s tx/day & it doesn't seem like they're especially interesting transactions everyone's just like, meh, yeah, w/e, transactions,, if you make a bunch of millionses of transactions & break a record or smth then people are like, yay, w00t, transactions
idk weird clash of worlds,, besides happening to hate us they just don't have context to communicate w/ us & everything we say about what it's like to have a bunch of transactions happen or anything would be so strange to them,, let's just never talk to eth people again byyyeeee

I've tried it . I would say it's an anti-web2 concept. This is what is interesting about it to me. rather than being ego-oriented where other people see how popular or unpopular you are , instead tries to be topic-oriented and highlights popular content .
it tries to replace the web2 mental motivations with a score gamification and earning.
That said, I fell the current structure is disorienting to consume the content your want even after a few hours of using . I think they should tweak the UI .
also, a user is required to spend a certain amount to enable Search . That's another obstacle .
another surprise is there is no commenting. It's flat structure. Everything is under the topics
It's not a site to drop in for 5 minutes like Twitter but for something to do for an hour or two, people who have a low cost of time will use it. For that reason I think it will do ok as along as the site owner keeps promoting it.
Whether it gains organic foothold, I don't know yet.
