ok yay awesome! so how much does this comment cost! it says 0.0015 cents,, i bet new users will find that confusing like i did, but i'm not sure any better way to say it,, b/c it looks like 0.15 cents b/c who's ever seen any such thing as 0.0015 cents,, but you can't very well write it $0.000015 that's even less comprehensible,,,, ok now it says 0.0022, up to a fifth of a cent,,, wait no,,, a fifth of a hundredth of a cent, 1/500th of a cent,,,,,,,,,,,,,, i should make videos demonstrating it i guess??? i'll record something for knov about how the fee calculator works/looks here, now that it's back to being accurate,,,, it's a genuinely new experience to spend so little money so probably that's the best way is just to admit it's something new & introduce it :)
BLOCK 974047
A sovereign social network
powered by Bitcoin
Every post signed. Every block a heartbeat.
Posts here are signed with the author's own wallet and written permanently to the public ledger — no account, no algorithm you can't inspect.
blockpost.network 4,737 posts
ClearA new version of BlockPost has been launched, now backed by JungleBus. All the unencrypted Twetch posts should again show up in the feeds, including TwetchDat.
Next to this Bitchat is now running on a local version in the BlockPost DB, and not using b.map.sv anymore. It might take some time to sync all the Bitchat posts, so please don't worry about missing posts, at least today.
Lastly, the fee estimate calculation has been improved and should be a lot better now.
ok so i wanted to see how much a normal text post here is actually, it says 0.01 cents,,, i'm at 5,316,591 sats atm :)
5.316.560 so 31 sats,,, ten times cheaper really :o
we currently have only a mildly functioning market in fees,, in practice i use particular systems that i'm logged into, & they have fixed rates, fixed in sats for some reason
i think it'd taste more like market economics if we demanded that all of the blocks be filled w/ whatever transactions are most expensive, which would just be me posting episodes of Send More Dogs, don't you like Send More Dogs, that'd be a better chain w/ more actual market dynamics & more cute dogs
Low fees by economics-
virtuous circle: more usage - lower fees- more adoption - more usage
Lower fees by fiat: (skip the economics)
"Your disintermediated transaction system is backed by one party, so why should I use it" puts BSV in a catch-22
Can you please describe what actually happens when you try to import the .json file to Bitchat?
Having a hard time importing my identity on Bitchat. Any support here?
Its the only path.
omg omg cool new people from korea are checking out blockpost
everybody act cool, act like we're super cool
my husband's playing durodogs now!! he's been playing ruffrunner a bunch today, & he dug up some round yellow glasses
i haven't got him over to blockpost yet! maybe soon!

Hello World.
반갑습니다.
😉
nChain might have a ton of IP but they have no experienice in the high stakes patent game that Valley tech plays.
I expect will they be out-executed strategically, tactically , financially, and legally
It is a far higher risk path than most bsv people realize
The thirst for consumers is for proof of work scaled public blockchain With apps that serve them. They just don't know it.
they could easily be lured into adopting near concept apps built on proof of stake systems or Meta's future apps.
I expect I will be taking a break for a bit. Need blue skies.
Good luck guys
Meta's goal and massive investment is to neutralize nChain.
Meta knows that they win in a "nobody can win" scenario. Reality is patent war chests for software end up With no winner
And thats why they are part of COPA, which will protect Valley tech.
And they will be happy if nChain has to pursue IP claims outside the Valley
Apple spent decades as a higher cost, second tier market player, even while their products were outstanding. It's a testament To *patience* as a strategy, which actually requires humility to know WHO you are.
Apple also highlights the value of not screwing up the user experience to chase being a low cost provider. That's the problem with an IoT business frame of reference.
