the last 6 months, not many people want to hear about new NFTs. Some bought ones previously hoping to sell them to somebody else and there are few buyers.
I think this is good though. when the craze ends, more people reassess what has value to them.
The last aspect of NFTs is the variety in human nature. While I would never pay huge markups for an NFT, clearly it is a draw for others seeking status. Pumping an NFT creates buzz , which creates thirst for some to be part of the buzz and join the high status crowd.
it's just like everything else in the world. i.e. Ask a woman if she prefers to carry the $30 pockebook, the $300 one, or the $3000 one
One way to look at art NFTs is with regard to the content. A different way to look at NFTs is with regard to people.
consider the similarity between buying and giving a paper card as a gift and buying and giving an NFT as a gift. In this respect, NFTs need to get more personal.
let's put aside the pumps for flips and the rarity mint gambling . Even among groups of people, these are expressions of group affinity, when people want to be part of a "community". The NFT can also emulate as a ticket for joining

i think of BSV mostly like a spam filter that LETS YOU DO THINGS,, encouraging dog pictures, buying the items w/ the largest barkbattle splash radius or w/e, serious business stuff i guess, you get to choose, or get to buy food b/c you need to to survive, you know, but, sometimes you get to choose, & BSV facilitates more & more interesting choices
one i did a dogecoin thread, i can't find it any more, huh, where i gave people like 200 doge (nothing at the time) to shop an image of a hippo w/ purple & green hats & a speech bubble so the hippo is saying "i love dogecoin" i think it was,,,, that was fun!
i mean idk if it's rude or not,,, it's a brand new thing so who knows?!?! i'm pretty sure all or almost all of the oni owners don't care at all, probably plenty of them would love to see some love for their onis
but like ok the image file here is a PICTURE OF the oni,,, even though the oni itself has that very picture as a prominent part of what it is,,, it also has attributes, it has being limited, it has uh idk w/e feelings & implicit social relations & w/e there is in the oni community,,,,,,,,,
but like you should totally come join the oni telegram, no worries whether you have an oni, i don't have an invite handy but i don't think it's like secret, it's a little chat where presumably mostly the people there have onis or why are they there, but it turns out there's no reason at all to like ban people who don't hold onis!?!?! it seemed before it actually happened like you'd make a secret clubhouse chat where only oni holders can go,,,,,,,,, but,,,,,,,,,,,, really there's just that chat, ti's just an ordinary telegram chat, korppi, who has i've seen an awesome super rare oni w/ a pretty dragon & stuff, posts pepe stickers & pictures of reindeer & stuff,, few other people,, cool place

i mean that could be MILDLY rude towards whoever's Oni that is,,, especially since, like, you totally have my permission to use my Onis for w/e, you could probably get permission from sleepless even if you wanna do something that needs legal permission,, so like it's funny to do something w/o asking when you'd probably get a yes :)
i'm going to get all of my Onis printed up on canvases, anybody know which company does the best job of that??, & framed maybe, & then if i ever sell them i'll sell them w/ the printed version,,, or maybe i won't ever sell them & i'll just have them up in Pasta Room Studio, w/e!! you can print out my Onis too,,,, but,,,,, it's different if you own them, it just is
do you get this, this is how it feels to me: i don't FEEL like i'm being trolled & spammed to death, like for YEARS AND YEARS i accepted it as normal, but then if i go onchain for like MINUTES i suddenly adjust & then when i go back to twitter or somewhere it's like WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS even though i got used to that for YEARS & i've only been here for MOMENTS,,, it's interesting
