Elites like to compare Russia economy to being smaller than Italy but the latter has a large service economy built on high government social services and debts and EU ties and the other is a more independent resource economy

very Poor comparison

the better term is art NFTs

jpeg NFTs are an extra syllable

if somebody is minting because it's just about their social platform influence to pump it and actually hate art, then they should call theirs a jpeg NFT

I think it was a given that Putin would drive up the prices of oil and gold

since biden jammed up drilling and production and pipelines

putin pressures the US economy and debt doing this and also makes more money for Russia as a big producer of both.

gold mining profit is hurt by high oil prices but Russian internal cost of oil is far less than world oil price, double win for Russian gold mining

The guy who was driving my Uber the other day was a former Nebraska pipeline worker who had to leave the state due to lack of work

over 10 years experience, in > $100k job , now getting by driving an Uber in a city far away and looking for another line of work

Since I am one of very few complaining about the reductive art that is pumped by the bsv NFT platforms , I have concluded that both rare candy and RelayX push art NFTs for a customer base that hates arts.

Art NFTs for people who hate art

thats 95% of the NFT $-volume in bsv

your name isn't saved. Try it again If you already did it

When I got into DIME, I made the incorrection assumption that it's owner wasn't willing to sell it down to nearly $0

regret that one

I could go to dao with a bunch of proposals around building on open social but I assume for more than half of the voters , openness is the last thing they want.

Even if not so, the dao is likely to be a high friction way of getting things done since it's membership has so many interest conflicts

I suppose it's a good thing gorilla pool exists now and is looking to innovate the space

but I don't think a bunch of people had to throw money in a dao and then get mad for a new pool outfit to get bootstrapped

Also @EmaCryptoXo put out the personal NFT with creator video 'Shattered Dream' and got almost no reactions

Goriila DAO - you could say a lot

i had a few, never voted, saw they got into mining (horrible idea), and sold my tokens back.

they should have called it GorillaApp DAO with a mission and proposal requirement limited to advance apps. They could have done a lot doing that

But instead, I expect that twetch-afffiliated people held a majority of the DAO votes. So of course they don't want a bunch of DAO users to self-affiliate and create app and affinity competition.

so they vote to get the DAO into mining and blow up the DAO affinity so everybody hates it.

Its a great examples of the problems in bsv and in how the dao was launched

We got a lot of work done last month tho we didn't put out even half of it.

We are sitting on a bunch of projects and work with no good vehicle to market and deploy.

the work we floated out since the start of the year- Josue charity, aceofgears abtracts and Zuck Lizard show me that the barrier to overcome existing user affinities is exceedingly high

at the end of the day , 95% of users in bsv are intensely loyal to their bags in their wallets , which was born out of which ever hierarchy signal group they were following .

until more unaffiliated users show up, possibly drawn in by handcash and bbg, and some % of them wander into the ecosystem , things will be slow.

I hope the view looks brighter in 3 months

You could argue that minting and selling BYOM on an nefariously unfair platform is worse than just being a closed platform.

because it's an illusion that you can do something when most likely you are wasting time and money.
