come to blockpost.network, mungojelly's personal blog where other people post occasionally

i haven't been a new blockpost user in a while, does it have things mixed in with the noise from twetch or w/e by default, hopefully it's easy enough for new users to find the actual content happening here,, could the homepage if you go to blockpost.network maybe be just it shows you the latest actual posts,, you lose people at every click, sigh, so hard to build a funnel that gets any attention w/ everyone so distracted

i mean i guess essentially what it needs is there needs to be real value to the things being posted here, like enough value that people sniff out that they should tune in b/c this is where the good stuff is ,,, idk if i can deliver that level of content, idk, is it worth coming to blockpost to hear me ramble, i say the same kind of stuff on twitter ,,, hmmmmmmmm🤔

someone asked on my video just "Is bsv going to take over btc?" so this was my answer:

"btc" is absolutely worthless and can't do anything at all

bsv has been pumping out blocks since 2009, it's super awesome, best computer in the world, by far the most interesting, it's got a sort of shared drive w/ all the stuff everyone's uploaded -- "btc" has this too but only up until the split, then mostly all they have is a bunch of scripts that SAY "anyone can spend this!" but really you can't, long weird story -- i've uploaded pictures and there's a zillion things from all these NFTs being made now and you can reference all of that b/c it's one big shared computer, people are starting to write programs doing things making links between the computer and physical reality, like there's a company Unisot using it to track particular fish, it's a big computer where we can have records about fish, or pictures, or just saying hi, or complicated financial instruments, it's a replacement for the internet sorta but sorta it's what the internet always promised but never delivered on, it makes networks work, it makes the world work, it's the whole future

"btc" is already taken over, i guess that's a sort of answer, "btc" was always taken over, was always just a response to Bitcoin, to BSV which is the only real Bitcoin, in response they made fake Bitcoins and anything else they could think of to try to keep their businesses from being replaced by it

a lot of people run businesses that we're going to replace with how BSV does stuff more efficiently-- like i say in this video, it can just totally replace the whole web, and be better than it in various important essential ways that have always limited the web, and it costs way less, and there's a bunch of people in the web server business like uh Amazon and Google i guess and they're going to be fucking pissed soon and make more confusion and it's always hard to tell what Bitcoin is

but the star that should guide you is proof of work, literally and metaphorically, the chain that grows, the chain that works, look for where you can get a good deal, be honest and fair and you and Bitcoin will find each other and reward each other

Maybe we're all talking about different things because the different versions of Twetch (a bunch of which are somehow still running simultaneously?!) have done and are doing different things?! Some but not all of the recent posts, depending apparently on what interface you use to post, seem to be completely encrypted to some unknown keys, they're just raw binary data and nobody seems to know how to decode it except Twetch.

I have been able to post to Twetch from my own app as a test. The library code was available, but have not checked recently. Creating the UI of a reader would be quite involved though.

there's about eight billion people we need to get talking onchain and apparently the people on twetch are going to be harder than average to get onchain rather than easier, fine, who's the very very easiest

what comes to mind is people who are hungry and here would be an efficient place to beg for money for food ,, i think there's literally a lot of people who that'd be a useful opportunity for them, not sure how to advertise to them though ,, i guess i thought of it b/c there is someone on twetch who's talking about their family doesn't have much to eat, hard to tell of course but it feels legit, someone threw them $10 i saw, i wonder if that worked & got them some food, hm

I just got up so I checked my Twetch noticifications. I got a response from Daniel Krawisz saying "go make your own twetch interface." and three different people littlehearted it. OK so I guess that's where they're at is they still think that Twetch is an open interface. Why the fuck do they think there's no other interfaces. If they think it's a free market why do they think the price stays the same forever. They clearly haven't actually evaluated this at all. Very off-brand for Daniel, those people liked his "suggestion"/dis because they were thinking they could rely on him to have thought the situation through.
