Clearhey i hadn't seen this before scan.metaid.io has some statistics on metaid adoption, that's interesting, 22k accounts but i think those are mostly faked i hear, 5.3m transactions that's more real,, not sure i 100% follow what it means that some of the blocks are metablocks do you

what i've gotten from context is it has something to do with how they hand out meta coins, which you get for metaid participation and then can spend on things like promoting a post or minting a metabot
The other PFP I like, is a larger file I guess that's why I was having issues, might try again later..
yup blockpost works great, i still slightly prefer memo's interface, but w/ blockpost charging currently half as much as memo, it's a pretty easy choice for best value for posting to the chain :)

It took a while for my pfp change to take effect! Something about how it actually has to go out to the chain and be reread by the server. :)
not only does twetch cost way more than chain fees and have no other gateways also you can delete posts somehow now?!? so it really is just twitter where you pay two cents to talk, at this point, shit
It has been changed. This seems to be a problem that pops up sometimes when posting your profile on-chain. Thank you for the report. Will work on fix.

I'm thinking it's just lack of competition. Like it'd be easy enough for Twetch to have chain fees to post & comment, and just take their sick 20% cut on likes & other tips. I assume they'll retreat to there pretty quickly if actually threatened. So even if all you wanted was Twetch but cheaper, it'd still makes sense to come over here & rattle your sword at them a bit until they lower the price, lol. :)
Why is blockpost so much cheaper than twetch? Twetch need to up thier game tbh. 3rd worlders can't afford to twetch for long...
I've heard some sinister interpretations and I've heard Twetch called a cult and I think it's more subtle than that. They just sorta drifted into an awkward position and they'll need to rationalize their way out.
There really wasn't much competition when Twetch started, so they set their own price, makes some sense. Then people got invested in it, in what user number they have, in their place in that particular network and attitude.
Now I'm telling them they're paying 50x too much for no good reason, I'm questioning their judgment, I'm being really rude to them first, just with good reason in my opinion, but of course they're offended, I'm saying they got something very simple wrong for a very long time. :/
