Yes, this is why the beta label is still on the site. BlockPost is on-chain first, so all posts are put on-chain and then read back into BlockPost. If something goes wrong with our blockchain listener, which is Planaria at the moment, that error pops up. It fixes itself quite quickly, but is still annoying.

Blockpost has a perfectly reasonable value proposition. It's selling something at a price that makes sense. The main obstacles to communicating that are two different silly systems confusing everyone by selling the same thing at way higher prices. Mostly people are confused that they should pay $2 for "BTC" transactions, so obviously that doesn't allow any social media at all. But then even if they've gotten through that confusion and gotten to the BSV world, the dominant narrative is that they should pay $0.02 to post to Twetch. In theory it should be easy enough to sell people that $0.0002 is the actual price so they don't have to pay $0.02 or $2. But they've been very deeply confused, there's layers & layers of confusion, so it's not simple to communicate about at all.

If Number Go Up, then BSV might gain a lot of users. then it would be more worthy of a green light.

When bsv doesn't have many users, multi-player gaming is hard to pull off, especially while being from a bsv politics outsider.

if you haven't noticed, the 200 or so people who strongly associate with the frog cult barely support anything not of the frog world . They are 3 years invested into the exclusive idea that the hordes of people will come joining twetch , making them low digit u/ and hat/tendie/lock millionaires.

I had only sorta noticed that! Like I hadn't quite thought of it that way! Yeah that makes more sense why they're willing to pay such a premium, they're very invested in the brand. Whatever, hundreds of people isn't a hard number of people to fnd on the whole internet. Ugh they've got 60000 signups and 300 users, half a percent retention, not hard to do better than that either.

I don't think numbergoup is the only possible route towards getting users. We can also have real economic opportunities where people can scramble for sats. Right now you can get a lot of sats at once by selling an NFT with some sort of mystique--- that's another sort of Twetch user other than true believers, I think, are just people who have the sense to see that the true believers are a good source of sats if you can convince them you're inside the game.

It's all 100% open. No lock-ins anywhere, even with the identity part.

what is the format exactly, where's it documented? i can see on the chain that it has the text & some tags & ends with some binary for some reason :)

I think it would be cool to have a "Don't Lose This" TG Bot,

you tell the bot the text or image not to lose and it posts if to chain for you using these open social APIs

There's some loose ends to tie up, but I think we should consider the fight with "BTC" & "crypto" to be essentially won. To my mind the leading adversary BSV is facing is the environmentalist narrative. That narrative used ridiculous statistics from the broken "BTC" chain to start people believing that "Bitcoin"/"cryptocurrency"/"blockchain" has a large carbon footprint, but by now the meme is unmoored from that instigation and it'll persist for quite a while-- it probably would anyway because it's resonant with today's concerns, but the presence of enemies who'll enable and emphasize it as much as possible makes it all but guaranteed. Every bit of effort we spend thinking about battles we've already won is taken away from actually looking ahead to what's coming.
