ClearBSV community has a few different factions revolving around self-interests and allegiances as well as personalities and values
Thats why I thought my game idea built to lets these communities battle in a chaotic fashion in a game was a good.
loosely the tribes were the foxes ( frogs included ) , the apes , and the lions
it still looks like a good idea but still thinking about it And how to make it happen
Even the jpg NFTs , people miss the point of having a tradable item. people can see who owns the tradable items. The utility of these jpg NFT is for expressing social affinities. These social powers are important. Humans are social beings and social value pretty much runs our world. Elon Musks 'social value' is off the charts.
I like NFTs in games too and often expression of social affinity has become a factor within the game And that's when the NFTs will gain the highest value
People who think they are smart screen-grabbing NFT artwork and thinking they are now owners, are going to look pretty stupid trying to screen-grab a gun in a game.
This is why NFTs with utility are far more convincing.
If you think about metcalfe's law, its hard for a bsv app to compete with established legacy apps.
On-chain identity with an on-chain social network enables the entirety of BSV to compete rather than for an individual app to do so. It makes BSV act as an aggregate toward Metcalfe's law
it's crucial
Also like siggi just showed to me -it's completely open. He could shut off his server and if I liked the app enough , I could go run it
history of internet shows the most open platforms often gather an Inertia of builders that can lead to wide usage
User economics not hierarchical- Many 1000s of people joined twetch yet quickly ran dry of funds before gaining traction. If they came here, arguably a lot might still be active.
The on-chain identify is a key . Your social network can be tied across compatible apps. There is no social network lock-in. So your friends can be with you wherever you are. Say somebody build a discord like app, you can have the same social network there.
Multiple aliases is also supported by this which can reduce managing all sorts of wallets and logins and keys . Like on twetch , eventually I had 3
is it possible to post to twitter frm here, then follow twitter thread here?
i mean wud it b possible, given a bit of dev work?
seems like a good development
i like the cheapness
and it's integration of lesser platforms
Can someone tell me the USP of this platform?
Right. it's one way. We can join on to their content but they don't see this content. .
that's why I flip the logo on the upper right and pattention to the blockpost content
no
didn't realise twetch was so limited
so most of these posts are frm twetch and they dont see feedbak?
hi
welcome to the greatest social media site of all time
Just getting used to the platform.
Hello! 👋🏻
Great news 🙌
Hi Blockpost 👋
💯
I don't think most twetch users grasp the amount of lock-in the twetch product's social graph creates without making use of this on-chain identity.
This should make more people want to use this blockpost
