By the way, my guess is reason the math was wrong perhaps the common mistake of calcuating permutations when they applied combinations.

Permutations are ordered and combinations are not. With a combination you have to divide out the number of combined variables , which increases your probabilites as you increase variables

somebody posted a rarity table that appeared to show a quantity of the top 1% gopniks all had 1-in-1000 rarity .
