My longwinded posts here might compile into a little mini-book "On BSV Apps and Markets, the Path Ahead" or something like that. I want something solid anybody in BSV can read.
I've succeeded if they think "Hey I don't have to run off with the circus because of little monsters they call Scaling Problems. I don't have to keep the Network drama in my daily feed. There are actually sane thinkers out there in BSV who have better ideas in mind. I can do fun stuff and focus on what is being built"
Bsv apps save $ on backend. Bsv apps save $ on security. That's great but we don't want Bsv apps to also be $cost += cloud compute.
then $cost > cloud compute , which makes it hard to beat cloud
we want it to be $cost += 0.5 * ( cloud compute ) with no sacrifice to the scale function
and bring cost down from there. thats how to win.
The importance of enabling on-demand scaling is that stuff does not break every month when a new workload peak is reached.
people building their own will never escape this problem. The internet went through this 2 decades ago.
It is basic expectation now. The importance of it for BSV's ambitions cannot be understated .

I am sick of watching many wonderful bsv followers hang on words from the absurd world the Dev Cult creates on social media, with their ridiculous hype pitches and psyops.
I would love to see BSVers out there hyping some play-to-earn token game that somebody built.
But because we have this 50 person Dev Cult and 300 or so 'network-value' enablers , they keep obsessing over and over about the f-ing network.
For the love of God, stop trying to play King-of-the-Network folks. Stop enabling other people who just want that.
Can't we focus on creating apps that delight people, are useful to businesses and consumers, that people like to use and enjoy or gives them value. ??

A major App could license their own teranode software from nChain to run on this infrastructure if a big player wanted to pay for that to run their own live BSV network node.
So these people who incorrectly fear that teranode equates to Taal centralization, we can show here they are wrong about that.

This is the alternative to the Dev Cult . The LARPers must be defeated .
There is no need for saito infrastructure or solana infrastructure or any other artificial hobby infrastructure to run apps at scale.
Apps do need on-demand scalability. With some efforts, they won't need to rely on monopolistic hyper scale cloud providers like AWS for this.

I often question whether BSV can get its rear out of the mud when 200 or 300 of its most ardent supporters continue to uncritically enable this Dev Cult
