I bought a handful of Goriila tokens way back but my issue what I had no idea if I was on a common mission with the others who had tokens. Seemed better to start with a mission. It seems pooled funds are at risk of people with agendas who are most likely to get active in the DAO

i think the problem with this is people don't understand why it's needed or what it's for. With interest low , the concept stagnated . But new energy has come
within that umbrella, I think I will push out two different focus areas :
- a creators network
the creators network will help to provide platform and promote independent creators
- a developer network
outreach and to growth of independent devs with political guidance and technical network . Bsv is a swamp of politics.
There are other users who are neither focused on devs or creating. They are often important benefactors. I don't plan to leave them out either .

In bsv it's hit or miss whether they will interact positivily at all when they join. within weeks, new users will almost certainly encounter people being openly toxic or find themselves in the middle of social spats.

there is an art genre that has been heavily worked over through computer graphics. All well and good, but I realized the aesthetic will have stronger draw in hand-crafted painting. I don't believe it's been done much by anybody so it's a real chance to do something special

It's a good start. Still lacking sophistication and short of many features.
At least, posts must be editable. Blockchain does not mean changes cannot be made; it just means that you can't change the original document, but you can always amend it by creating a new and updated document, which then could be used for display instead of the original one.
Bitpost.app already implemented editing feature. (I actually wish the features and ideas of Blockpost and Bitpost were combined.)
But overall, there needs to be a far more sophisticated way to manage content. Manual workarounds, such as the backup solution you suggested, are inadequate. You must consider the real users in the real world. Most of them are not geeks. They need low-touch solutions that work reliably and automatically with very little friction and minimal human intervention and involvement.
Take advantage of smart contracts on BSV. There are a lot of functionalities that can be built, but are not possible without the BSV blockchain. WordPress, no matter how sophisticated it has already become, cannot compete once you start to build on the right direction on the right blockchain.

It's important to understand how a hierarchy can succeed. people will contribute from the bottom of a hierarchy as long as they see they are getting some thing back that is better than their alternatives .
BSV social hierarchy is stagnant for because there is no appeal to be involved at the bottom of it, yet it's very demanding. It's fundamentally never been a functional one in two years
i will be the first in line to try to flatten hierarchies and bsv can help that , but bsv users are a social network that will gravitate there
It's really cool to see a young person say "I want help to learn stuff" and within a year see that person doing something successful
