Have a suggestion to blockpost dev. I don't see many blockposters punching the $ button to reward posts. Would suggest the tipper can choose how much to tip from 0.01 to 0.10.

Update August 28, 2021

One of the things we hate the most about using any application is when it is slow. Here at BlockPost, we put a lot of effort into making sure the site is very fast and enjoyable to use. Even if BlockPost is already much faster than other social media sites on Bitcoin (we will mention no names), we felt we could improve further.

In this update both the frontend rendering is much faster, but also the backend fetching and processing of data are up to 20x faster. The speed of search has also been greatly improved. If you are searching for something on social media on Bitcoin, you are probably better off searching on BlockPost for it and clicking through to the other application.

Next to these speed improvements we also added an option to search for users on the search page. Just flip the tab to users and search for any user that is registered on the network. We also added the BlockPost filter button on the search page, to filter only results that were posted through BlockPost directly.

We hope that this will make the experience of using BockPost more enjoyable for you all.

Flash Back to Beach Nuts ⛱️ Part Three

.

#vacation #story #life #funtimes #surf #photography #travel

The twelve year old gets the prize for riding the longest curl! This guy had the timing and launch that awarded him the surfing trophy.

We could have gotten two surf boards (body boards) which was one of the options they had - or - we could get just one surf board and two very cool digger gloves.

TomSurf.png

The kids could not see letting those diggers go on with their purposeless existence in the store window. For that reason, they are taking turns with one board.

Neither one of my boys knew how to swim at this point in life. They did not learn that trick until we moved to the tower. I was having difficulty teaching them with all the sand and waves of the ocean.

By the way, I found this panarama shot in my photo drive and it seems it will make a good separator for my posts. Fits with the ***who lives in a pineapple under the sea*** theme that has been my habit for over five years.

As one might expect, we were toasted crispy that day and I pulled back into a shady part of a sand dune while the kids continued to run and play and surf. That is where I took the shot of the beach wide-view above.

I could easily see how they were doing from my hilltop bunker. My worry was that they might forget they cannot swim and go out too far trying to catch that next wave. We still had some time before high tide came in, so they would be alright and I could let my skin cool down.

We only lasted three days in the sun even with sunscreen being put on every two hours. The rest of the week would have to be spent with shirts on and draping a second shirt over the head to cover up our necks. There was still plenty to do in Mar de Ajo for the overly sunned tourists.

@BitcoinAssassin This seems to be related to an autocorrect bug in Chrome on Android. This has been fixed in newer versions of Chrome, but maybe DuckDuckGo has not updated their chrome engine. There is not a lot we can do on our end, except suggesting turning autocorrect off.

@BitcoinAssassin Was testing the bug with regard to tagging in DuckDuckGo browser. The above transaction was sent by accident when UI jerked around 😂

In our case, the tagging worked, but weird things do indeed happen when deleting the tag. We will continue to investigate.
