Concerned a very harsh reality is realized in the coming days:
DailyMail: "Overnight, the US only put 2,000 people on 18 C-17 planes - an average of 110 per flight" and "a German plane with room for 150 departed Kabul on Tuesday with just seven on board" and "the Taliban formed a ring of steel around the airport"
Multiple sources have corroborated that my headcount estimates posted last week were not too high.
Unless something materially changes, many thousands of Western citizens, mostly Americans, do not get out in the weeks ahead.

Most of the leverage and disruption of Bitcoin tech is in the category of "contrary tech". By its nature of being different, its more cost, more work, more time to build and harder to deploy. Ideally new businesses are built on Bitcoin ground-up using it.
But time and cost are easily overcome with big investment $$$. The question I often wrestle with is, where is the bigger new investment going to come from?
This always leads me to back price and the reflexiveness of investors. If the Big New investment dollars are to flow into BSV, the price needs to move BSV up and out of the coinmarketcap cellar.
Less than $5m needs to be spent in building tech stack stuff in BSV that doesn't exist anywhere. A business rollout plan would run about $20M .
The $20m could probably deliver over $1Billion in value in under 5 years.
But the BSV ecosystem is undercapitalized so the status quo perisists.
Most of the stuff built in BSV is what I would refer to as "corresponding tech"- enabling doing what you could do before but on BSV. While that is necessary and has value, what is absent is "contrary tech".
