Hi, fellow identity groupers.
To prepare for any discussions we would have in the coming weeks/months, I think it would be useful to share the work already done by the various parties around identity.
I started working on a self-sovereign identity system some 7 years ago and the ideas from that work have been implemented into Legally Chained, Honā and BlockPost.network and are still operational at the last 2 (these messages will be put on-chain using those protocols).
The protocols I have developed around identity:
- BAP: Bitcoin Attestation Protocol (https://github.com/icellan/bap)
- Heimdal ID: Heimdal login protocol (https://github.com/icellan/heimdal-id)
Please share any work/protocols that you have already worked on, so we can come well prepared for the first discussions and come up with the best solutions together.

We haven’t published the profiles yet on-chain. That will be an option in a future release.
What I image for discussion in this channel…
- Define what a media library would look like, published on a SBW domain or public blockchain
- Define prices for the media files and revenue splits
- Define some structure around ownership of the medias and registration and trade of ownership
- Legality matters. Jurisdiction matters
- A baseline minimum discussion would be supporting what Ryan wants to do with video file transfers
