Remember always:
"One becomes that upon which he meditates," and since all things have come forth from the Light, Light is the Supreme Perfection and Control of all things.

Contemplation and adoration of the Light compels illumination to take place in the mind—health, strength, and order to come into the body— and peace, harmony, and success to manifest in the affairs of every individual who will really do it and seeks to maintain it.

Total ADHD response lol..

ADHD is a gift the way I see it, learn to embrace and benefit from it.
Dumped the meds 1 week into it.
Gods gift and I accepted it

Meditation. Sitting with what causes you to reach for the next thing - generally sitting with some form of pain.

Best I’ve found is,
Good sleep, exercise, and stimulants

Waiting until the last possible minute also works pretty good

Thanks bro, I get good sleep but I experienced it only helps me when I go to sleep on time regardless of the amount of sleep
Also moderate caffeine intake helps for me

I don't think you ever "get rid" of it

How do you cope with it? Or you let it just run?

Both good things, but neither treats ADHD

It's not an ADHD treatment, it is addressing the root causality of the underlying condition rather than making the condition some insurmountable obstacle by only approaching the symptomology.

I do understand your position, or at least why you would split hairs w my comment. I have a particular variety of affliction, so I'm not just being callous and insensitive in responses or tone deaf to the fact that platitudinous oversimplifications such as just don't think about it or you know just change your mind, it's like there wouldn't be a afflictions if you know you just literally change your mind about it at any time. However, I believe that what they convince us are bugs of the condition are actually its features and the not so obvious solutions to said affliction in the first place. In other words one need not look outside for answers dealing with the essence of the internal.

Here’s what I can say as someone with RAGING ADD:

  • saying things out loud when you think of them helps you not forget them
  • I always have either a little notepad or a note on my phone where I immediately write down thoughts so I can review it at the end of the day and see if there’s anything I forgot to do
  • sometimes I send my to-do list to someone I love and talk to often because I know that I’ll open their chat
  • some people do that trick where they tie themselves to (for example) a kitchen drawer so that they have to physically stay in the kitchen while they do kitchen tasks
  • if I have something important scheduled, I always schedule it for a bit earlier than usual time so I forget what the actual time is and then I have to be punctual
  • I can send more suggestions but let me know what you struggle with
  • I don’t know how accurate this is, but I’ve heard that people drink saffron water and it helps?

Thanks for the tips my friend
I talk a lot to my brother who is a doctor about it, sometimes it’s just the small things that can keep you on track but the problem is those small things weigh super heavy and I feel like “caged” when I try follow them
My biggest problem is basically wondering off and wasting time, and leaving everything to the last minute while stressing about it all day either way lmao

Hey fren. It’s super hard, I get it. I’ve been that way all day today, more than usual. The best thing that’s helped me is realizing that there’s no one right way — you need to have 100 different techniques to cope, and it’s chaotic in and of itself but you got this! Don’t be too hard on yourself, life is already hard enough. Let me know if there’s anyway I can ever help. 🫶🏻

Start smoking a pipe. Go to a local cigar shop, buy a nice Peterson pipe that you like, get a pipe tool, a few different pipe tobaccos to test till you find the one you like. It’s meditative while having something to occupy your hands.
Pack, light, reflect.

Ahhh, tobacco.

I took up smoking a pipe a few years. However, I smoke a special South American pipe called a "kashimbo" and the tobacco I use is called "mapacho" - 100% tobacco.

Some tips:

  1. Get the best quality tobacco, preferably not from the tobacco industry. Maybe even grow your own, if you can.
  2. Inhale the tobacco into your mouth, not your lungs. With strong tobacco, the nicotine enters your system anyway, and you preserve your lungs. Mapacho tobacco is said to have about 18 times the nicotine content of store-bought tobacco.
  3. You won't get lung cancer if you follow 1 and 2.
  4. Keep in mind that your teeth will stain!
  5. Tobacco is a sacred plant - treat it with respect. Empty the ashes by a tree.
  6. You may get dizzy or feel nauseous. Tobacco is a purgative!
  7. Enjoy your tobacco meditation. Watch for insights and inspirations. (I have tripped from smoking tobacco!)

Try carnivore for a year.

"without meds"
ensure you are not eating any crap that could affect you would be a first step
take your diet down to baseline meat and water
wake and sleep with the sun
reduce blue lights
reduce screen time
no screens or blue lights before bed

Carnival diet worked for you?

1aUt6N…jRpF Unverified · twetch

i was carnivore for 5 years, was great
felt amazing, with clear focus, never hungry

My lifestyle is different now,
as living off grid and not buying food
but will get close to carnivore again

and i say carnivore
you don't need be super strict
leafy greens, garlic, onions are good to add
if you avoid carbs it is easier to keep your diet under control
and avoid temptations

but first step if you eat any is cut out ALL processed foods,
and eat organic, GMO free
you need to rule out all the crap they use

The meds only help for so long. It requires regulation training. DBT CBT I been on different meds for it. I've found Wellbutrin helps when combined with lowest dose possible of your add med of choice. But it isn't a cure it's so you can better function and seek care
