Such a great point! So why even bother with different levels of "secret" classification in governments, since every project manager knows already that people will just blab it all anyway.

Guess we can ditch classified info worldwide and be open again!

Entities which cannot die are already dead... because they were never alive to begin with. There's something to be said for the early American version of the corporate charter, which required evidence of social returns in order to be renewed. 2 sided coins

Will bitcoin survive tyranny?

My bet:

YES!!!

But forget about that... what I love about permaculture is the idea of automation in food production that is entirely organic. Working with nature instead of against or in spite of nature just resonates so satisfactorily.

... ... ....

At least not the world as it is today, no. As automation and overall intelligence increases, will the world as it is today adapt accordingly?

It seems rational to conclude it probably will. But who knows.

Ick.

Permaculture is such a great concept vs monoculture, but must recognize that it is also less efficient. For better or worse... that depends on the lens through which one looks.

I'm okay with tenure, in order to protect pursuit of truth from politics. However, any and all "publicly" funded research should immediately and forever be published onchain.

abolish academic tenure

It doesn't even work in small communes of voluntarily associated ideologues. Communism is one of many politically correct names for a slave system.

Anyone who has ever tried to share pizza with roommates knows that Communism cannot ever work.

Well said. Another way to frame the problem is the dualism of production vs plunder. Governments have been in the business of exclusively the latter since forever. What do they have left to plunder in a world without borders and a world government?

twetch#22134 6.5y
  1. Mainly that the government manipulating the currency is the root of most issues we all face as citizens. It distorts markets, pervert incentives, and misallocates resources. The net effect is to raise wealth and income among the least productive.

poor satan can't get good help these days 😂

As is reason. Balance between the two is healthy and stable. Either in isolation polarizes. We need unity between those who tend to be more empathetic and those who tend to be more rational, and why "divide and conquer" types attack along these lines.

They are vulnerable to a lot of things, they are old and frail. That is life, my friend. They were vulnerable before covid19 existed and will continue to be vulnerable to things other than covid19 until the day they depart. I will enjoy them while I can.

How do you expect anything to be right then? We are all mortal and we will all die sooner or later. It is not unethical to acknowledge that we are not immortal and that we do not have total control over life and death. Life guarantees death.

Well, is it ethically wrong to live and breathe when so many die every year of influenza a and b? Your fear-based reasoning I do not subscribe to, I am sorry. The second we are born we are guaranteed to one day die. This is an inevitable fact.

Those who are still hyper afraid can wait and remain extra cautious until they see that there still aren't bodies in the streets. I have been "going" this whole time.
