Permaculture is such a great concept vs monoculture, but must recognize that it is also less efficient. For better or worse... that depends on the lens through which one looks.

Well, it's a good thing I'm an artist and not a farmer.
Thank goodness for the farmers. They are having a tough go of things lately. :(
Don't sell yourself short... artists are idea farmers... and farmers are artists!
But forget about that... what I love about permaculture is the idea of automation in food production that is entirely organic. Working with nature instead of against or in spite of nature just resonates so satisfactorily.
