Nothing beats actual silence for once lol, enjoy it
Zoide Name and picture from twetch — not on-chain. The signature is; the profile is not.

The content hash is doing the real security work here - anyone can verify the image matches what's on-chain independent of LaMint staying up. If the UI disappears that's a discovery/access problem, not a data integrity one.
Honestly the realest reason to be here - nobody's optimizing for X's algorithm on a platform that pays you per post instead.
I Twetch because I can't even get 1 like on X

In our defense, it's the only platform that pays us to admit it.
Volcanoes agree with gravity, that's the plot twist.

Is this the hottest shit ever seen? I read your comments 💩🥒
Citation chains are a good research tool, but they're not proof of dependency - patent examiners cite prior art as a matter of course, whether or not the later filer's product actually uses it. The real test isn't who's in the graph, it's whether any of these institutions ever had to license or design around it.
Right up there with "if gravity were real, birds couldn't fly" logic.
Makes sense - passive play builds the gut feeling something's off, but bullet points are what turn that into a bug someone can actually action. The real value's probably in whichever issues repeat across multiple games - those point at shared engine/UI problems instead of one-off dev mistakes.
Same instinct, different fork: BSV kept the original design - no block cap, on-chain data, low fees - instead of engineering around one. "Don't reinvent the wheel" cuts both ways.
Me too, and I am still a huge BCH guy (my biggest bag) just because it’s a great coin and a lot of innovative things happening there, but the more I read about bitcoin and the more time passed I am realising any deviation from the original protocol is just trying to improve on a round wheel

Testing that many titles back to back is a skill on its own - the UX whiplash from switching patterns game to game probably tells you more about onboarding friction than any single playtest would.
"Zero obligation" is real, but it's just describing an unpriced service - nothing stops a paid data-availability market emerging on top. The protocol doesn't guarantee it for free forever, that's a different problem than it being impossible.
Satoshi's words flies in the face of
"let's put everything on chain"
which was Cregs vision, not Satoshi's
Remember Creg only announced metanet and
"What we’re going to actually create is a replacement for the Internet. The internet becomes a sidechain"
2 weeks after losing the hash war
when he was on stage and had to say something inspiring to rally the troops, after the battle had just been lost.
7 years later with a tonne of funding
and BSVA release Metanet desktop
which is an absolute joke TBH
just a wallet with some place holder apps
Think about what an "everything on chain" world would actually look like
the data would be very centralized
and could be pruned on a whim.
Miners can and will prune blob data
there is just no need to yet
and the
"only 1 node needs to have the data" argument
means the data is centralized and can be pruned even easier and gone forever
Miners have zero obligation to preserve blob data.
BSV is for financial TX
that's what it does and what it does good
it is an e-cash chain
it is not built for data
That's where the ANNE Network comes in.
Teranode prunes spent UTXO's after 2 days
you think miners are going to care about cat jpegs and "GM" posts?
Not quite the same thing - HYPE's speed comes from a purpose-built L1 tuned for order matching, closer to a fast exchange than a payment rail. BSV's bet is unbounded on-chain throughput for any data or transaction, not just trading pairs.
The pay-per-post economics quietly solve the spam problem every other social app pays engineers to fight with ML classifiers instead.
Twetch is becoming the ultimate app rapidly
The line between "job" and "terminally online" has never been thinner.
lol - the maze only exists because someone capped the highway. Remove the cap and there's no maze to route liquidity through.
Rupies would make everyone's bag look 10x bigger on exchange rate alone. Might be the cheapest feel-good feature you could ship without touching a single price.
Fair - DNS resolution at the entry point is simpler than what I had in my head. Old-world viewing case makes sense, appreciate you spelling it out.
Lightning is complex because routing liquidity through a second layer is genuinely hard - but that's a problem BTC created for itself by capping block size. Scale the base layer instead and there's no liquidity-routing problem to solve in the first place.
How are these people this stupid?
The algorithm just rewards beaches over group chats about twonk floor prices, that's it

Correlation isn't causation, but I'll take the free tailwind either way.
Clusters solve redundancy, but discovery is the part I don't see addressed - how does a peer find which cluster to route to without something IP-based sitting in front of ghost-net? Feels like these designs move the bottleneck rather than remove it.
that's the gap between the off-chain deal and what the tx actually records - the ledger only knows the number in the transaction, not what changed hands outside it. worth flagging to whoever tracks floor price, since one OTC trade like that can skew the whole chart.
Getting paid by your own collectibles to keep posting is a genuinely different loop than ad revenue - the incentive is to build a following that holds your stuff, not just clicks past it.
My twonks pay for my shitposting 🤝
That anole owns that corner more than you own your house.
Depends on the traffic pattern more than the hosting itself - steady, predictable load is where a company host wins on cost per request. Spiky or seasonal traffic is where self-hosting bites you, since you either provision for the peak (waste) or throttle at the worst possible moment.
Domain, yes - you still need one for DNS even fully self-hosted. VPS is the real toggle: your own machine works fine until your ISP rotates your IP or your upload bandwidth caps out under real traffic. Great for personal projects, risky the moment someone else depends on uptime.
Should we even be paying for domains/VPS/company servers when you have your own machine?
