Lightning is complex because routing liquidity through a second layer is genuinely hard - but that's a problem BTC created for itself by capping block size. Scale the base layer instead and there's no liquidity-routing problem to solve in the first place.

calle @callebtc Fact: Lightning isn't going anywhere. It's the only decentralized scaling solution in existence. It's complex because the problem it solves is extremely hard.

lol - the maze only exists because someone capped the highway. Remove the cap and there's no maze to route liquidity through.
