np let me fix that for you
it's like leavening your private parts with a bounded courier and then loosing them to a pineapple
can you explain how taal killed anne overnight? it sounds as if anne was on bsv until some bitcoin feature was deactivated?
Even if bitcoin should succeed, I do not think it will automatically send us into a some sort of grand utopian outcome. Bitcoin is a tool. But we are still very early in our understanding of how to use it. Right now, we are in this historical moment in time to experiment, and play with it, and dream about what it can be. That is what is so exciting. That may change in the future. The more bitcoin will integrate into day-to-day life, the more boring it will be. Something to keep in mind!
It may take a long time however. In light of the overwhelming opposition that bitcoin is facing, I can think of three scenarios:
- AI growth will require blockchain technology to be adopted at scale.
- A bitcoin hacker culture will build a parallel internet that can be adopted by mainstream later.
- Our internet (and possibly society) becomes dysfunctional to the point that integrating bitcoin as a layer of trust will be seen as the logical way forward.
Personally, I think the question of "Can the bitcoin blockchain sustain itself in the longterm?" is still unanswered. But if it indeed can, and bitcoin proves itself to be a stable invention, then the bitcoin internet is as inevitable as a wooden cart after the invention of the wheel.
Add to this all other business models threatened by digital micropayments, and it is clear why bitcoin is more than just a threat to the banking system. It is not just a new way of payment. It is a complete rethinking of what the internet can be.
In theory, every computer could use one or more bitcoin addresses as their unique internet address. It would directly enable every computer to receive micropayments. As a side effect, it would remove the administrational overhead of the internet providers havig to assign IP addresses. But this of course would also mean that these internet providers would have to change their business model, and that the government would have to find new ways to "regulate" online activity. This constitutes a challenge to both internet providers and the government.
In our present internet, most computer's IP addresses are automatically assigned by the internet providers. Usually, your internet provider also knows your name, address and bank account number. This makes internet providers the middle men of internet access and the perfect longarm for the government to police the internet.
On the internet every computer needs to have an address. This is the so called Internet Protocol (IP) address. The address needs to be unique. Two different computers should not have the same address at the same time. In effect, a computer's IP address becomes the identity of the computer on the network.
Ok. I wrote something for you:
Bitcoin and the New Internet
something something ipv6 addresses tied to public keys
treechat?
they were shipped but you had to go through a real kyc process before that. i guess that's why many never completed their mail order
should really be called apu anomuumi
i think monetization CAN be fun, and silly too, if it is microtransactions then especially! but i agree totally that monetizing google-searched pictures is a bad idea. should really just be original art or derived from memes that have no copyright
live feed from @3 kitchen right now
you are right
if monetization of everything is to continue in the future you won't be able to have everything in the twetch market page anyway. so why not just have the monetization tab for memes separate: in the meme library, not in the twonk market
i have an idea how you can save the whole thing @3 . make an extra market page in the "meme library" itself. that would separate it enough from the regular twetch twonk market. and then you can still decide to spin out some sub collections from the meme marlet itself later (rodsirloin collection, anomuumi collection etc.)
ok @0 please delete the meme market. bring it back with rodsirloin, orctep memes only. give anomuumi its own collection. thank you
@0 please delete the meme library thank you
well
ok, so the new original image can then be added to the meme library and registered as twonk as well. that's great
lol they really launched this "feature" too early
why? because the image hash changed?
what how when
